Having not played a Resident Evil game since 5 and the remasters, this was a fantastic re-entry into the franchise. The story was amazing, the gameplay felt fluid, after changing a few settings the game ran flawlessly on a 3060ti, I can't fault. I think the only downside, I guess I could say about the game was the length.

As a fresh playthrough, I completed the game within 7 hours and it's easily doable in under 5 if you're a competitive player, i.e. speedrunner. There are cool incentives to re-play the game such as unlimted rounds, free items on the second run through and what not, but it's not really something that I'd go back to immediately, but definitely at some point in the future.

I'd give the game 8.5/10 and definitely worth the purchase considering it's a prelude to RE: Village.

Early Access Review
Tried this game during the free weekend and I was hooked to be honest, really enjoyed my time on this game. I plan to buy this game very shortly, it's just a real fun sim-like shooter with arcade elements and it kind of brings the fun back to competitive FPS.

Battlefield, Call of Duty, they're fun games, but they're missing that risk factor and HLL brings all of that to the table, you feel that your death either contributes or doesn't contribute something to the table and with that, you think about your plays a little more when you're with your team as you don't want to be the one holding your squad/your team back.

Definitely would recommend if you're into competitive shooters such as Squad, ARMA and the like, this is a must buy for FPS enthusiasts.

Builds on all the ways Chivalry could not, definitely a game worth recommending if you're into your Medieval battle games. Hours of fun, tons to unlock, lots to master. Brilliant all around.

Definitely not "new player" friendly, but a vastly diverse game that can keep you entertained for hours and hours and hours. There have been attempts to take the heat away from the game, i.e. Friday the 13th and things of that nature, but you can't dethrone the king.

If you're in the mood for an asymmetrical horror slasher, this is definitely up your alley. Definitely not a game for the easily deterred.

Constantly getting new characters in the game, patches and overall a very well looked after game. A must get for fans of the genre.

Coming from a heavy sim background stemming all the way back to Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, Jurassic World Evolution just seems to be getting better with every iteration with the latest update & DLC putting it into a world of its own. Not only are the developers listening to the community, they are in a full understanding of what creating a fantastic Simulation game should be. I have no doubts in my mind that moving forward the game will continue to improve and just tick all the boxes. It has been a slow start, but we are almost there now. If you're an avid sim gamer, this is a real throw back to the greats of our time. Check it out, enjoy it. You will not be disappointed.

For such a small game, banished brings an awful lot to the table. It brings elements that are introduced into AAA titles and that is just fascinating.

I think Banished is what many of building sims wish they could be, but along the way they have got lost, forgot what their aims were and ended up with a less than finished game, Banished does not fall shy in this area. I believe that banished could do with a bit more explanation for the casual players, but then again, this game is not really for players of the casual nature.

I think Banished is a building simulator done right, it addresses all of the right points that were never in previous games, e.g. Simcity (Sorry EA, but you dropped the ball on that one). Sure Banished is hard, it's got a learning curve and you will be pulling your hair out times but you will not find a more pure, delightful and fun building simulator out there.

I would recommend this game to absolutely anyone that is serious about their simulators.
