Early Access Review
I'm rewriting this review because my first review didn't do this game justice.

If you have friends. Buy this game. Even if you don't have friends. Buy this game.

I have a group that I play with and we are always looking for a new co-op game that we can all play together and Deep Rock hits the nail on the head. It can be played single player but the classes are designed to all synergize with each other with unique roles so co-op is the best way to play. Engineer shoots platforms on the wall, scout grapple-hooks up to them, gunner deploys ziplines and driller... drills. If you play single player you have a drone named Bosco to help attack enemies/mine resources. The community in this game is actually pretty decent, it's not too hard to find a competent team.

There are many different mission types with a wide range of rewards for everything you do. Harvest plants to craft beer, reach milestones to unlock perks, secondary resources for weapon upgrades, skins, animations, beard cosmetics, everything. It would likely take +1,000 hours to unlock everything currently in the game.

The difficulty ceiling on this game is very high. There are 5 difficulty levels and Hazard 3 is generally the standard. Hazard 4 is very hard and Hazard 5 seems nearly impossible even with a skilled team. There are also the Deep Dives which are 3 missions that must be done consecutively.

Randomly generated missions and cave systems. No two missions are ever the same.

FOR ROCK AND STONE!
