Ah, dang it!

Pretty much this, but as a game. It is fun.

Only played an hour of this so far, so things may change.

To sum up my first impression: It's basically more of the same.
It's like this old meme "same, but different, but still same".

Its Hades, but with new stuff (enemies, weapons, boons, etc.) and minor additions. But gameplay is practically the same as the first one. Which is a less risky and I think a good approach for this sequel. It's a good game and if you like the story and VAs of the first one this is a good buy. Just don't expect something vastly different in terms of the gameplay loop.

You are not required to play the first game I think. It has a different story and so far the plot of the first one was not being refered to a lot.

If you are new to hades in general and dont want to spend much money, I'd recommend the first one over this, since its on sale often and gives you a similiar experience. And then decide if you want more of it or not.
If you don't care about the money get this one - or even both.

I can totally agree with most of the reviews here. This game has some great potential. Progression feels satisfying (leveling, crafting, exploring new areas, dungeons, etc.) and there is alot you can do I feel like. If they keep working on it, it sure will be great! The only minor negatives I have are the lack of some sound effects and that animals and monsters spawn near me when I'm at my "base". They keep damaging my stuff and some things I had to build twice already because of that.

Animal AI is still a bit wonky tho. They seem to run into water and die in there all the time.

I only played it for a couple of minutes so far, but I wanted to give some feedback for the developer,
I like it as a casual-type of game you could play if got some minutes to spare and don't have anything else to do really.
It's a basic triple-triad-type card game. I like the voice acting at the start and that there is some type of lore (It's nice to have that and there is a bit of work put into it, even if it isn't really necessary for this type of game in my opinion).

There are some negatives I had tho.

The first minor one is that I'd love to have settings to adjust the audio. It's not that big of a problem since I can turn the audio down in my operating system.

The second negative thing I have is that the game started to lag very badly. It may not be the fault of the developer and more of the engine used or maybe even a problem of my hardware/processes.

But it's a neat little game, achievements are super easy to get if you want those. I also like the idea that you can actually loose your cards from battles.

It's pretty good in my opinion.

This game is just LOVE. You have to decide, do you want to kill and level up t be stronger? Or do you wanna befriend everyone? Either way its your choice, and you have to deal with the consequences! You got alot of different endings and alot of replayability giving that there are some secrets to uncover. Even tho this game doesn't have the "best graphics in the world" it's story is the core of this game! If you like a good story and are not about all graphics and action-packed gameplay, then you should definetly give this game a try!

Niedliches kleines Visual Novel Game.
Mir sind teilweise wirklich die Tränen gekommen, das Ende war jedoch überraschend und lustig.
Dafür dass es kostenlos ist finde ich es sehr gut gelungen!

Okay here is my first Review ever:

I partly agree with the negative reviews but also partly with the positve ones.
It's a great game at it's core, BUT as a beginner you will struggle with class selection because you don't know what is popular in parties and which class specailization is good for PvE and PvP. There is alot you would have to figure out before even start playing. And yeah you can solo alot of dungeons for leveling, but after a while you will end up grinding (even with questing you will have to run through the same dungeon multiple times) and that stuff can get really really boring. Until level 24 you may or may not find some ppl who will boost you for free or for items. but after that nearly no one is gonna boost you for free or even gonna grind with you.

This Game is really fun when playing with friends or within a Guild, so I would recommend every beginner to look for a Guild with nice people as soon as possible alot of them would help you for free in leveling and give you tips for your class!

*hard to compete in PvP and some PvE dungeons without cash items or very expensive stuff
*equipment is mostly luck based (or money based)
*cash shop items are very expensive
*can get boring to grind for months to reach max level
*as a beginner its hard to figure out what class is needed the most for parties/raids
*(not the best graphics and some bugs here and there)
*lagg can mess you up alot especially in PvP

I would recommend this game if you want to play it with friends. If you want to play it solo you have to prepare for alot of grinding/farming. You need to be patient in this game.
