Unfinished and buggy. Bad Level Design. There are some good parts but they're few and far between - and they're usually ruined by poorly designed gameplay. Cannot recommend in the current state.

I will commend some of the work that went into the art of the game, but lots of the environmental art is too visually noisy.

One hour in... instant favorite. The parkour and gunplay feels amazing. I still have yet to try out the arena and time run mode, but endless was really fun - mastering some of the tiles is part of the fun of the game.

Great game... so far. Not sure how I feel about the chapter-based business model if they're going to be as short as this one is, but for only $5 it's not too bad a price to pay. I hope future chapters will have more content and that this was more of a "demo".

Setting all that aside, I love the game mechanics so far. The GrabPack's controls feel a little clunky but with some practice you can get used to them. The level design varies - the first sections of the game were well designed (loved the train puzzle), and I loved the electrical puzzles. However I felt the first encounter with Huggy should have had a bit more testing. The "maze" like chase was very fun but it was very easy to get disoriented (the intended design of course, but not in a good way). The atmosphere was also great, I love the art direction of the game so far.

Just please, add more content to the future chapters!!! This was only 40 minutes of gameplay!

I remember for years I pretty much avoided this game because of the "cringey fanbase" that was the subject of lots of ridicule on the internet. Fast forward to 2020, I decide "what the hell, I'll play it". Just to see what the fuss was all about.


I was holding back tears at the end as I got the True Pacifist Ending on my first playthrough. My only regret was that I'll never play this game for the first time again.

Stay DETERMINED, no matter what.

The amount of love that has been poured into this game is staggering.

Great fun for the whole family! My kids especially enjoyed Sucker for Love! Heartwarming...

Edit: After going through the whole thing... wow. Best $10 I've ever spent.

I have to say I was very excited for The Final Hours to come out, however I didn't really know what it was. Originally I had thought this would be more of a huge article that you could read on some website. So, imagine my surprise when I saw it had finally come out today and instead it was actually a $10 storybook on Steam. Immediately, I was like "why do you have to pay for this"? Surely its just a news report, right? Obviously, I was wrong. However I was intrigued and bought it anyways.

After going through this for about an hour I can definitely see why there is a price to it. This is not just a mere article - its not only a detailed look at all of Valve for the past decade (something I'm VERY interested in), but its this charmingly weird interactive storybook, even featuring puzzles in it. It's got a full 3D tour of the Valve Office (there's tons of secrets laid around by employees from what I can tell, also BUFF GARFIELD), and... I can't really explain it.


Most people would probably look at this and say: "$10? Why am I paying $10 for this?". I think its worth noting that its basically a book that's super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool and is cheaper than most regular books.

Anyways, check it out, either if you buy it or just watch on YouTube, its a very interesting story that you shouldn't miss out on.
