The first thing the game showed me was a screen-covering pop-up with random MTX Store / Battle Pass crap, all before I even made a character. Playing through the introductory section tutorial, the game felt very clunky and somewhat unresponsive to my controls. Not for me, but it has a fine character creator.

It's got optimization/performance issues, I have crashed a few times, but I've still been having a great experience with it overall.

Edit: I love this game. Strongly recommend it, especially if you liked the original Dragon's Dogma. Took me around 70 hours to complete my first run.

It's an amazing game, an amazing sequel, though it has problems that need to be resolved. If you've played the first game, it's just that but with smoother gameplay and better graphics. It has needless and useless microtransactions so don't waste your money on them, since you can get ALL of it for free with little effort in game. The game also needs to improve its optimization, I've had a number of crashes spaced out with little link between them. You can only play one character and cannot restart, the devs said they would look into it, but at the time of writing it, make sure you make your character / pawn exactly as you want them to be.

Not only can you Pet the Dog, you can also dual wield buckets. 10/10 best Soulslike Game.

Edit: You can now wear a bucket on your head, wear buckets as shoes AND you can dual wield GOLDEN Buckets. It is now an 11/10 game.

Edit: I am now able to play the game, but it's so bland and boring that I can't get more than a handful of hours without wanting to go play some other better game. This game is amazing at keeping my expectations for ES:VI at such a low level, that I don't want to see it come out anymore. Oh yeah, adding the AWFUL Paid Mods again as well, because eveyone loved it the last three times it utterly failed.

I want to play this game, but it is very unoptimized, so I am unable to play through the constant stuttering and audio cut-off. Will change to Yes if and when I am able to play, and I find that I enjoy the game.
