Disclaimer: I got this game in the current 2k Humblebundle, so I luckily didn't pay for this piece of garbage (well atleast only a fraction of its price).

This game is atrousicly bad. The combat is even less fun than it was in 2k18, the new finisher, signature controls are really weird and I don't know if they changed anything significant compared to last years WWE 2k but the fights are even more boring than they were before. Maybe it's just me getting tired of this garbage 2k has been throwing at us for the past 5 years, maybe it is actually worse, I can't even tell anymore.

Besides the glitchy physics everyone has atleast heard of I wanna focus my review on the "My Player" Carreer thing of this years WWE because it is the worst thing I have ever seen.

The carreers went downhill a long time ago and basically every Smackdown vs Raw (the actually good wrestling games which existed a long ♥♥♥♥♥♥ time ago) did what 2k never achieved, it delivered a great story and made you feel connected to your Superstar.

I don't even know where to start, if you think 2k19 or 2k18s story was bad, I really got some surprises for you.
Well, lets start of with a question, what is your goal when playing the carreer mode? Is it a fun story, a climb to the top, awesome matches trying to become the best Wrestler who ever got into the ring? If you answered any of those questions with a yes, be sure that 2k is gonna ♥♥♥♥ you over big time with they storymode this year.

The storymode actually starts at the very *end* of your career, I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you. You are on your way becoming a WWE Hall of Famer and the whole story is just a series of flashbacks. You know you get to the top eventually (tbf you always knew that in those titles, but you wanted to see how far you get and how everything happened) as you are on your way to the hall of fame ceremony which kills the whole purpose of even playing the story mode. You achieved your goal the second you see the first cutscene, you made it, you are a famous wrestler...

Atleast those flashback scenes are good and actually have a deeper story to them, right? Right?
Oh Boy, obviously they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ don't. You start off with a scene from your highschool times back when you were like 15(?) years younger but your character looks the same as he does in the present time, why? Because 2k didn't give a ♥♥♥♥ and it makes the whole flashback cutscenes ridiclious to look at. Looking at a 2.10 metres 200kg monster who apparently is 17 and still in highschool while he still looks the same in present time is nothing but absurd.

Oh and btw. your main characters are totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥. If you wanted to feel connected to them at any point, just don't. The male protagonist is basically a whiney goofball who hates his parets by adoption for literally no reason besides them wanting him to go to college instead of starting a wrestling carreer (for which they apologise like 20 times every time you check your texts). The female protagonist is dull and boring.

The whole story just skips through interesting parts of the story and gives you really boring and tedious parts you don't care about instead of giving some kind of character development or anything remotely comparable to that.
At the start of the game you drive to Bret Harts mansion but guess what, Bret Hart moved out so you gotta do something else, you have to get into the wrestling business somehow but how did Mr. Goofball and Ms. Unintersting do that? Nobody ♥♥♥♥♥♥ knows as the next scene is them literally doing their first real match. Now they apparently are some underground indie wrestlers, I wonder how many stories you can tell there. Will they win some indie titles? Oh, nobody knows because the next scene is 4 months later and they moved along. What about the next sequence which is remotely interesting? Nobody knows, because as soon as you did one match it just skips in time once again. This is the whole story. Everytime you think there could be some potential and you are actually interested in how they got further into the indie wrestling scene there is a leap in time to some other random scene. I quit this ridiclious carreer mode after roughly 2 hours of not wanting to play it.
Oh did I mention you can't skip any cutscenes because they are so brilliantly written? Well, atleast the dialogue seems to be decent, right? I have seen better porn scripts than this pile of garbage. It actually is insulting how dull and boring those characters are.

♥♥♥♥ you 2k, I really miss smackdown vs raw and I passionatly hate this insult of a game.

Early Access Review
edit 30.09.2022:

This game is about to release in about a month and is nowhere near ready to do so. I bought Bannerlord pretty much the day it got into early access and I really had high hopes (as you can tell by my initial review) but holy crap did they blew it. The past 10 patches they've released over the span of multiple months haven't done anything but fix small bugs, not introducing anything worthwile while ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over the modding community everytime they do so. They either have to delay the release by months if not years or this game will release as a desaster.

Initial review:

This is an early access game. It doesn't state anything otherwise. In it's current state the game is playable, it actually is really good fun but you can see everywhere that this is a really rough and early build of the game. Almost as if Bannerlord was an early acess game. The devs are currently getting much hate on the steamforums for the very reason that this game is unfinished and they totally don't deserve that.
If you loved warband then this game is just brilliant, although it's in an really early state.

In my 30 hours playing Bannerlord my savegame got corrupted 3 times now as it did for many other players. It definetly sucks but once again, *this game is a bloody early acess game and you know what you get when buying one, a (currently) unfinished project.*

If you aren't okay with losing your progress aswell as many hours and time you spent into exploring the world or giving your character an awesome backstory, that's totally ok. Just don't buy it yet, wait a few months untill the game is more stable.

If you want to dive into Calradia at this early stage of development be okay with losing progress, be patient with the devs working hard to bugfix all those issues (while having to work from home due to the coronavirus if I might add that). Don't blame it on the devs, blame it on yourself for exactly knowing what you bought when you got bannerlord as an early acess game.

One of the best (semifree) VR Shooters on Steam as of now.
First things first, this game DOES support the Oculus Rift S (some reviews said it doesn't).
If you have issues with starting the game in VR try starting it on your PC, you then have the option to play it in VR, this solved my issue, as it didn't start in VR when using the Oculus.

I have only played a few heists so far but the gameplay was just marvelous. I am not to hard to impress when it comes to VR games but I really had a blast hiding behind cover to shoot the cops and playing heists in general.

The movement wasn't working perfectly for me as I only managed to teleport a few steps in front of me, teleporting further away just didn't work but after a few minutes it didn't really matter at all. Although the weapon handling and the utility belt feel weird at first I had no issues with the weapons after a few minutes. The utility belt still was a pain in the arse I luckily didn't have to use it that much.
The shooting feels really really good and its a hella fun. Especially when aiming down the sight it just works really good. I don't know if its due to my weapon settings or if its default when playing VR, but having a Laser next to your scope really helps with accuracy.

All in all, it definetly isn't perfect, but for what it is, a Free DLC, its one of the best shooter experiences you can have in VR.

I really recommend playing a regular heist but then staying behind cover and play the game as a horde mode, you don't have the downsides of the rather ♥♥♥♥♥♥ movement.

Ooooooooooooooh Baby it's frickin Action Henk

At first u go through this game thinking its like a Sonic meets Toy Story-ish game but without the steroids but once you complete the first 2 levels it suddenly goes like boom shakalala and lets you hunt for hardly every gold or bloody rainbow medal you can frickin imagine.

But lets start with the proper review.

First of all and most important; is this game good?
♥♥♥♥ yeah, it is.
But why is that?

I first saw this game on AGDQ Idontknowwhich♥♥♥♥ingyear and it totally blew my mind as it was pretty fast paced but also intuitive enough to understand what the runner was ♥♥♥♥♥♥ doing. A few years later I got this game and played it for the first time and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blew me away, not like a fan or something but rather than a bloody jet engine.
I couldn't imagine spending half an hour on the bloody tutorial just so get this rainbow medal no one in my life would actually care about but apparently I did. So now I've been playing for about 8 hours, haven't even finished the whole game but started maximizing my rainbow medals because I DONT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ KNOW. This bloody medal hunting is more addictive than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Heroin.
The only downside on this mastapeece is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hook which is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and I hate it and pls kill it from the game
5/7

PS: The playerbase for this game is pretty much extinct, but who the ♥♥♥♥ cares about this ♥♥♥♥ if u can hunt for rainbow medals am i rite?

Awesome game,
♥♥♥♥ publisher.

But hear me out.

I've heard from several people that the Fallout series seems to be one of the best RPG series of all time, but as I never played any of games and I really enjoyed Skyrim I wanted to give it a try. At first I couldn't decide which Fallout to buy, I went for Fallout 4 because Fallout New Vegas is censored in my country (germany) and Fallout 3 is about 9 years old now (don't get me wrong, I'm not a graphic ♥♥♥♥♥ and I also appreciate old games (ghost master is one of the best games in the world btw, check it out if you haven't!))) but it just didn't catch me as hard as it would have had to to justify buying it.
So I went with Fallout 4.
As I mentioned earlier I didn't know ♥♥♥♥ about this game, litterally all I knew was that it takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting and it seems to be a pretty decent game. I'm currently at 23 hours and I have to admit that it's a bloody good game. The world is full of really sweet, cool, atmospheric or even sad sceneries and places and basically every 10 minutes you discover something which you haven't seen before. I don't know if im deep into the story by now - I suppose not - but it's just such a great game, all the quests often have different approaches, your companion behaves differently depending on your dialogue decisions and reacts to the world itself. It feels like a really vivid experience and its just a blast to explore the commonwealth.

So why do I don't recommend this game?
I actually do recommend it, but I just strongly disagree with Bethesda as a greedy piece of ♥♥♥♥ publisher, trying to squeeze every cent out of the player.
Skyrim without Mod support would have been a pretty boring game, its just a type of game which is so popular because u can mod the ♥♥♥♥ out of everything. Fighting Thomas the tank engine as shrek with lightsabres as your weapons? No problem, go ahead and mod it! This is what made Skyrim such a great experience, even if the standalone game became boring for you, you were able to mod the hell out of it and play it with different approaches or even as a total new game with total conversion mods.
Although I don't really need mods (yet) to appreciate and love Fallout 4, it's something which just makes an RPG, especially made by Bethesda, better.
Not being able to mod the hell out of Fallout 4 without paying massive amounts to Bethesda, who haven't done ♥♥♥♥, just makes me sad.
All in all, just as I stated in my first paragraph;

Awesome game,
♥♥♥♥ publisher.
