On the second campaign level, you are required to deliver 10 Lumber to the mission depot. However, the sawmill is unavailable to build, so you cannot produce lumber, and the town they give you is not large enough to have the yellow squares for you to build stuff on to even place a Sawmill, even after spending all of your remaining building slots on more housing in the town.

I completed both tutorials, and the first campaign mission, no problem, but then hit a complete progression blocker with no explanation on how I'm supposed to go about 'unlocking' the sawmill to MAKE the lumber I need.

Automatically and immediately ends the session, sending you back to the main menu if you DARE to move slightly faster than the posted speed limit, instead of like, giving you a fine or some other penalty but letting you finish the route.

Very poor loading performance, often taking longer to load a small scene than GTAV takes to load the entire game.

Also, the fact that it forces you to drop any items you're carrying when you extract is slightly frustrating, as there's no chance to recover those items

I reported some issues I was having and a few bugs I'd noticed to the developer on the Discord, and while they were very interactive there, and it definitely seemed like the next update was right around the corner.... that was more than a year ago.

Since then, there has been no updates made to the game. The developer is still active, and from what I understand there are several financial reasons they cannot continue active development, but with the game in the state it currently is, I cannot in good faith recommend this game. It's got a LOT of potential, so if the updates start rolling out again I WILL update this review, but until then treat this game as abandonware.

If you can afford to lose $10, the game is solid enough, but there's one critical bug that essentially nullifies any challenge, that I will not go into in this review.

Swing and a miss with this one. The biggest killer, for me, is the fact that it uses a separate save, with no way to bring ANY of your progress from GW into the main game. You start a new NORMAL save, progress a bit, then at one point you're offered a mission that starts a NEW save for you in GW. Despite being clearly started from one save, there's no way, at all, to send anything back to the main save.

Would have been better off adding a new DLC planet that you needed a special kind of glitched thruster to get to, or something. ACTUALLY tie it into the solar system we already have, instead of essentially making it it's own game mode without actually making it its own game mode.

All in all, a good start. There are a few issues, but they don't affect gameplay too much.

The animations are a bit strange and robotic. Tails don't animate nearly enough, and unless you start sprinting they don't really move much at all. When crafting stuff, your character holds their hands straight out in front of them, rather than closer to themselves where not only would they be able to see what they're doing much better, but their arms wouldn't get tired (I know crafting doesn't take stamina, but still)

The issue I've found that affects gameplay the most is a strange delay when jumping. All other inputs have immediate response, but jumping seems to be delayed 1/4-1/2 a second. It's not terribly noticeable, but it's there and if you look for it you'll see it.

Virtually nothing is explained. I haven't even been able to start up the reactor yet, cause every time I proceed to the next step in the ingame documentation, one of the previous steps is un-checked and I have to go fix that again.

As only one example, the Pressurizer constantly fluctuates up and down, and I finally just gave up on this game when, after finally stabilizing the Pressurizer for the 5th time (still haven't fully started the reactor), the pressurizer decided it didn't want to hold any pressure any more, and dropped to 0 pressure.

DO NOT PLAY if you aren't willing to invest... probably about 6-8 hours into this game before you can finally get the reactor started.
DO NOT PLAY if you have ADHD like me and can't keep track of 6 different systems all demanding your attention before the reactor is even started.
DO NOT PLAY if you don't enjoy looking across the room to monitor the pressure of a system because the vent controls are in one controller and the only gauge for that system is in the opposite corner.

Funny yet still engaging story. Sometimes a little bit over the top, but always to enhance the comedy

It's like you need actual military training to play this game, even on the lowest difficulty. The game itself is fun, but I couldn't even pass the first level, and the tutorial levels where they shoot back at you also took too many tries for me.

EVERYTHING is hard in this game. Movement requires precision and if you get bumped, you get moved. There's no option for 'blink' type movement, which means I get motion sick very fast. The interaction range for important things (eg., pulling back the slide/charging handles) is ridiculously small and time consuming to have to keep trying for over and over, and by that time you've died to the enemies.

You are also CONSTANTLY moved without any of your input. Physics object bumps you? Now you've slid over there (Hello again motion sickness). Hand bumps a wall? You're shoved away from the wall to make room for your hand.

I tried to give it my best, but even now, half an hour after I took my headset off, I can still feel myself sliding around in the game from EVERY. TINY. THING. I played Half Life: Alyx beginning to end with no problem. I play Neos and VRChat no problem. This game makes my physically ill.

Mechanics are only explained after they're necessary. At one point in the beginning, you had to clear a gap over a heated grate. "Hold A and release while running" but the running controls aren't explained until later when you have to get across a moving walkway. I wound up discovering that you could grab the floor and pull yourself up onto the ledge, and that's how I finally got past this section.

I agree with the other reviewers that this feels like different programmers were assigned to different areas. There's no cohesion across each area, and no clear direction for anything once you reach the lab.
