Well, what can I say. Shortest way to describe Warframe is "your comfort-food game" in the fast-paced-action category. Reliable, always there if you want to do some average stuff to zone out, but not dull enough to leave you unsatisfied.

True big spectacle is rare (though very admirable whenever it's found), but the overall "goodness" accross the board makes it worth it. You always have something to do, either solo or with friends, and the devs update this game so much that even if you spend some months away, you'll always come back to something new, be it new guns, a couple new warframes, a new story quest, or even a whole overhaul of some big aspect of the game.

The fact the game is an "ever-changing-eternal-beta" is a double-edged sword. Sometimes you'll see systems overhauled in a direction that you didn't want; sometimes these overhauls will make the game leaps better. And sometimes they'll add lateral options, neither good nor bad but different. And in the "comfort-food game" department, some variety is always welcome.

Also, community participation is great. User generated content (with revenue to the creators), community managers always doing streams and interacting with the community, player-made ideas seeping into the game, developers always showing what's cooking for the following patches. Something you don't see everywhere.

Overall, I strongly recommend this game. It might be hard to get into at first; the game's depth and complexity can be a bit overwhelming to a newcomer, but once you get used to it, you're in for some wild adventures -- perhaps not as epic as a big MMO or a great JRPG of eld, but also a lot more than your usual run-and-gun.

...Plus it's future magical space ninjas. What else do you want?
