I have played every FromSoft title and ER is the worst and I would never expect to say I regret buying their title, but here I am.

1. there is too much copy+paste in this “10/10” title, enemies, catacombs/mines, items, bosses (more RE-SKINS) etc.
2. a large map that is filled with huge empty things that you can't interact with, a large map with empty locations such as Liurnia, generally everything is exaggerated to make you foolishly think that this huge map is not empty and is very polished.
3. level design is very often questionable (like the huge hole in the castle that is filled with water(??)).
4. optimization of the game is non-existent. Frame drops are INSANE and appear out of nowhere.
5. Sometimes the game runs smoothly (ofc at 60fps) and then randomly just slows down, *theoretically* it's still 60 fps (based on steam overlay), but it runs as if in slow motion.
6. random INPUT LAG - just as the game starts to run in slow motion, very often I get very high input lag (WSAD works fine, but mouse buttons and dash work with unnaturally high lag).

(4/5/6 - my CPU and GPU usage is always below 60% / raytracing disabled)

7. INCREDIBLE number of bosses that are just re-skins. I really like the “main/mandatory” bosses, but the rest? And it's even worse when you include the optional bosses (like magma wyrm, which appears 4 times, LEONINE MISBEGOTTEN (4) (etc.). ERDTREE AVATAR (6) is also worth mentioning. All of them are simply copy paste with the same attacks, textures, animations, etc.
8. Questlines are really poor.
9. (Later in the game) the same *bosses* are used again, but this time they appear as regular enemies :)
10. Most of the armor in the game looks like trash, it's very hard to do fashion-souls.
11. invaders, when they are completely destroyed, use a very familiar method called “time to lag my internet”, so they can start teleporting and kill you in the place where you were 2 seconds ago :) It was, is and will never be fixed by Fromsoft.
12. “Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC)”, I don't know what EAC does in this game, all I know is that it does ♥♥♥♥ (it does absolutely nothing, many people have been banned for picking up an item dropped by someone else, def doesn't ban people for lagging their internet connection during an invasion, so what is it for?).
13 The game is buggy as hell. I don't have enough memory to remember on which number I stopped counting, how many times the game just crashed for no reason, crashed when loading into the game, when starting the game, when joining someone to a boss, how many times my character just fell through the floor.... :) and my favorite - when I was summoned, and two of them were hosts :)))
14. a bug that I find unacceptable is the bug that allows an invader to enter the boss arena and fight you during the boss fight (it happened to me twice).
15. Some (or more) bosses like Elden Beast are just a piece of ♥♥♥♥ loaded in already trashed title. That boss fight gave me cancer. If I went back to the days of DS3 and told everyone that in the next game we will be fighting a fish shooting lasers no one would have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ believed me. Here you go :) The DLC bosses gets even better ((:

By far, this is FromSoftware's worst title and I deeply regret buying it (the same goes for the DLC).

Miyazaki said “I'm still in the process of creating my perfect fantasy RPG”, "Elden Ring is not quite it" which to me means that ER was pretty damn pathetic regret and it's only going to be worse than ER is and so on ER is the last FromSoftware title for me. Never more.

It's really sad that they sacrificed a masterpiece (DS3) just for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥....
