It's a great game and most of the fun is front loaded. It has issues when you get right about three-fourths of the way through the game you can tell the developers didn't really know where to take the game. At that point, there's a lot of time wasting done to the player such as traveling through the unnecessarily large underwater city back and forth to complete tasks. The game stops respecting the players time towards the end adding extrinsic filler to lengthen the game. Had they cut that out and just polished what they had more I'd have ranked this game among some of the best indie games but the quality at the end of the game simply does not match the beginning of the game.

Regardless the game is fun and you'll get quite a few hours of enjoyable gaming from it. The pixel art is great and progression system is fun to work towards. Overall I'd say the game is a solid 7.5/10 and worth the price.

Extremely poor performance and intermittent crashes. Games shouldn't be released in this state. I have 32GB off memory, a 12900K and a 3090TI and the game drops below 60FPS with DLSS on balanced, RTX off, and most settings at medium, lower, or off. Pass on this game until they improve the quality.

Not worth the price tag. Netplay is good with good netcode but the interface itself is horrible. There are no ping indicators or country indicators. Controller support is a hard issue right now, my Razer Panthera stick isn't recognized correctly, and my 'HK/Roundhouse' button is also seen as the start button, leave me with no way to play the game other than to use joy2key and map the buttons to keyboard inputs.

When creating a lobby there's no confirmation to leave a lobby so if you accidently hit the wrong button you exit out. When you are actually playing and want sets vs a friend 1v1 the pacing of the game is annoying after each match because you exit out of the lobby and have to ready up after each match, quite annoying in fast paced games like Super Turbo when just being able to continue and play another match would be superior.

Too many issues with with match making, user interface, and most importantly controller support to have ever recommend this game for a $40 pricetag. The only redeeming factor of this game is the Musuem mode which is probably the best thing but I'd hardly justify paying $40 for some Street Fighter lore and artwork.
