You know it the series that you always seem to come back to no matter how bad it gets. If I could sum up the story voice acting, and just general vibe of this series it would be something similar to this. Seriously its bad. The narrative writing is horrid the, voice acting is bad. The attempts at soldier banter just make the whole thing cringy. The Emphasis on this being a realistic infantry simulator and then turning you loose lone operator style. Well lets be honest that's because the ai control and management functions of this game are from like 1997. At Arma though we rarely improve we just keep adding more stuff until your pc looks like a hoarders stash. Please Bohemia hire some new people to give you some engaging narrative and stop charging for barely 2.5-3 star missions for 25 bucks. Your just to drunk to taste this chicken.

This entire campaign has you running around with a what amounts to a duct taped tv antenna and your moms old foot massager. Scanning for signals and killing your allies. You can select between two versions of classical music to try and talk to the aliens with or the white noise sound. If i was an advanced intelligence who was watching some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ running around with a ducttaped sadist sex toy looking thing pointed at me, that belted out screechy violins I would take off and nuke the sight from orbit as the only way to be sure. Don't try and collect all the gear possible on the maps like in the standard arma campaign to gear up your buds in this because you will be sorely dissappointed.

The Ending will leave you confused like finding a turd in some very unexpected place.

But go ahead buy that dlc for full price just like me so I'm not alone in drinking this sour milk. Get absolutely trashed and stream your playthrough of some weird europeans idea of what'd be a cool stranger things in arma clone and how can we incorporate any type of synthwave like everyone else retrostravvaganza.
