As of right now I cannot recommend anyone purchase the game. It needs more time for patches, I am still unable to complete some side quests due to events not triggering, including one that is holding my game hostage, for leaving the area will give a quest fail and kill the entire town. I have had very little in terms of performance issues or crashing but I'd prefer getting those than being unable to complete parts of the game.

Patch 1.0.2 has fixed the quest. I assume it has fixed the other quest that would not trigger as it now forcibly failed that one (likely because of a story event). I also noticed the broken armor piece I kept in storage (it's icon was a piece of bread blown up) is now a proper bandit jacket. I haven't run into any major issues since this patch, but I would still recommend waiting a few months before buying the game so they can iron out more bugs and hopefully implement A-life properly.

This is genuinely awful. The planet feels just as empty as the randomly generated planets. A lot of the new gear is just retextures. It feels as small as any of the faction questlines but sold for $30. I wish I could go back in the time and shoot my past self in the head before I could purchase the game.

Despite liking a lot of the features; overall this feels really boring compared to other city builders. It also tends to get very laggy depending either on how long I play or how deep I dig.

I love Outis and Outis loves me and only me and nobody else

Spent most of my time not having fun. Moving as a squad is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when I want to try and snipe an alien only for the sniper to be standing behind a wall or object. The game would have been better off giving me the option to individually move a marine. Stealth is also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥; only way to use it is set up a turret hallway and spam motion trackers or use the flamer to stop the AI from using a doorway.

Trying to actually stealth is useless when they constantly spam an alien in your path after removing one. Make sure to abuse elevators or welding doors to end hunts. All the negatives of stress and trauma and it feels like you get zero rewards for playing well. The only thing I can say is like the maps being large single missions that you can redeploy into to finish rather than playing 100 repeat small maps with a few story ones in between.
