Scanner Sombre is clearly a tech demo disguised as a 2 hour full game.
"Terrifying theme."- Calling it and tagging it as a horror game is the most misleading promise since No Man's Sky. If T posing models are what scares you, then you're probably a 14 year old who obsesses over fnaf or something, and ok, you should buy it. The monsters in this game did nothing but just stand there far from the player and "scare" him. The only monster threatening the player was the water monster, which also made a very short appearance.
The story is absolute trash. No real narrative, and sometimes you will get to read the most forgettable text ever written. Oh and the ending, oh the ending scene. Pure cringe. I didn't even understand what the hell happened. Just a family (which I guess was the protagonist's family) throwing flowers at the lake, and then the game launching you to the start of the game for you to see a picture of them in the tent you start the game in.
The ost was nice tho.
Overall, a very dissapointing experience, and I don't feel any shame refunding this product. It does not deserve my 1 dollar. (I bought it on sale and still felt the need to get a refund, which says a lot).

Definitely better than the awful doom 3. The demons are finally back to being afraid of you.

It's only 3 hours long it's got a charm.

It's like going to a convention but everyone you see is cosplaying anime and memes, and most of the memes are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead.

Only 4 levels into the game and I can already see why people love this game so much

There are 131 games in my library. If I could place this game in a countdown of my games list, It would at the bottom, right at #131. I really REALLY want to refund this crap.

More of a patience test than a skill test. Just got boring after few minutes.

I think you should give it a shot :)
