One of the best games ever made and absolute must-have for anyone even remotely interested in open world RPGs.
Graphics have always been great, but the new next-gen patch makes it incredible.


As of originally writing, the new patch is pretty unstable.
So I recommend to save manually frequently, and/or set the autosave interval much lower, which can be done in Settings->Gameplay.

I can only start off by saying I was expecting this to feature a campaign. Since I've never even tried the multiplayer before in the base game.

So if you didn't guess already, I got really disappointed . Since I bought it on Ge two A (one day before it went on sale on steam), I wasn't able to get a refund either.

I thought to myself; since I'm stuck with this piece of sh- greatness, why not give it a try.

I was put onto the battlefield of 100 people, about to blow every single limb I had on my body off. While I was running for my life trying to fight back, the kids raging in the chat, the bullets flying past my head. It was too much.

Then I quit the game, and cried out loud to Ge two A (G2A is apparently censored <) for a refund.


11/10 - Would suffer from PTSD again

Jurassic Park: The Rise of Iron Man

This game is just amazing, nothing else to say. I still play it a lot even though it's a bit old now.

I love everything about it It's just great. And I really can't wait for Bannerlord to come out.
But back to this game again, what I really like is you basically start from the bottom, with a few coins to start with, and work your way up to sitting on a huge pile of gold on you own throne in your own kingdom while commanding the lords that obey you.

On your way, you will pass a lot of challenges that are sure to sometimes kill you, or if you're skilled enough, you may maybe defeat them. It's a really immersive game, the way you have to flick your mouse in order to swing your weapon a certain way or block is really nice, and also gives the game a bit of skill needed.

If you're very good at blocking and attacking the right way and order, you really feel like a sort of "champion", and not just button spamming. There's just a skill involved, which makes this game really stand out.

I can only recommend this game, especially if you like "classics" that don't necessarily have Battlefield 1 graphics, but really good gameplay.

I have played this game through years, not since it came out, but a long time. I have about 150 hours on steam, and about 500+ hours on a cracked version I had a few years ago. I just felt the need to support the developer by buying it on Steam. And of course, because it's one of my favorite games of all time.

TL;DR

I'm not very happy with the game in its current state.
It's lacking a real challenge, and the political parties feel like regular obstacles to make it harder. For me, it also lacks more options for "perfectionists" like me to "micro-manage" the city to the final and last detail, like for example managing the road grids, instead of just three options for it. The price I also feel is too much for what it is now. If updates bring more, I'll maybe buy it again and see if it makes a difference.


I really don't know what to say about this game.... A part of me likes it, and a part of me doesn't.
The main reason is because this game was much more "lean back" than I expected, it automatically builds road grids, and automatically decides where and how much to put industrial, residential etc. I expected a much more Cities: Skylines type of thing, with political implementations. Instead what I got, was a boring "don't worry about this we'll do it for you!" type of game. No challenge at all, hardly anything to do, and things become repetitive quickly. I also noticed the graphics of the buildings degrade a lot when you're not zoomed in on them, they literally become white squares with black windows (played on ultra).

I'll list some of my Pro's and Con's.

- Game was fun and intriguing for the first hour.
- Feels and is different from other city management/builders.
- The soundtrack is amazing.

- Graphics could be better.
- Price tag is drunk, even the 35€ pre-order price I paid for it.
- Game becomes dull quickly.
- The AI is as dumb as me.
- The UI is confusing, and the "benefits" from doing things are poorly explained. 5% Sales demand = ?.

I wish Steam had an option that was in between "Yes" or "NO" .
If you like really easy city management/builders with close to no manual control over the layout with political implementations, this might be for you. If you're willing to pay 45€.
I think a more fitting price would be around 15 - 20€.
For now, I'm going to give this a no. I'll probably try to get a refund.
If updates supposedly improve upon the game, I'll maybe buy it again and try it out.
But again, for now, I'm not happy with the game in it's current state.


Should you buy it?
Maybe, I think a price reduction would make it worth it. The game is still getting updated, so hopefully they'll add something to make it better.

It's a very great game, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it difficult.


4 hours later, I finished my engine, I then realized I needed a fan belt, engine oil, coolant and clutch/brake fluid.
I didn't have any food either, so I was at the last straw.
I hop in my van, completely blindfolded as I didn't know where anything was, and the map on the wall didn't show your location, so it wasn't that much help.

I hold down the ignition, and finally, the van started. I just start driving in hopes of miracles.
When I drove 100m more up the road, I come across a sign which says "insert Finnish city name here" and "insert Finnish city name here", I just call them left and right. I then decided to take the right, when I drove about 50m more, I stumble across some completely insane steep ditch, which was on both sides of the road. If you didn't guess it by now, I fell down into it, somehow survived.

I thought I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but I thought: "Y'know, I did tick off permadeath, so I'm fine!". As I start running like a madman the opposite direction, I took a brief look at my "survival bar" in the top left corner. As I didn't have any food, my hunger was in red, thirst in red, and fatigue in red. I thought it would've been enough to get back, as that thought passes my head, I fall onto the floor, dead.

Well, I didn't tick permadeath, so I was sitting with a mixed poker and confused face.
I then respawn outside, late at night, I then proceed to run against my driveway and I notice my van.... My ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ van was left in that ditch, it wasn't there! So how was I supposed to get my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ supplies?! Out of complete frustration, I decide to go to sleep.


I wake up, to beautiful Finnish bipolar weather.
I knew I would die even before I reached my van out of dehydration or something. So I thought it out for a minute.
I then noticed i had a tractor and a truck for sucking ♥♥♥♥ wells. I walk to the tractor, hop in, struggle with all the sticks and finally turn it on. I drive towards my truck, the same way I took, with eager. As I finally reach my truck, I stepped out of my tractor as fast as I could, not even turning it off, I then crouch down to tow the truck to the tractor. It was "out of range", as I keep on struggling I decide to Yolo it. I drove my tractor as close to it as I could. I finally manage to tow it. As I'm on my eager way up, I step into my trac again, I pull the handbrake, and my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tractor get's pulled down into the ditch by my truck.

Rage quit

Beside all the memes and whatnot over this game, I actually had a good time playing this for the first few hours. But it gets repetitive really quickly, which is why I don't recommend it for the insane pricetag of 60€.

I'd recommend it on sale for around 15 - 30€. It should've just been an indie game to start.

No doubt about it, the best city builder out there.

Still get's updated with DLC's and free content updates, and the steam workshop implementation is great.

A great little time waster, especially for the price. Get it on sale, 9€ is alright.

Also, posibly the nicest devs of any game.

Great great game. Definitly worth the price if you're a fan of turn based startegy games, or just strategy games in general.

Although, I do belive they should quit taking parts out of the game like for example: blood, and then selling it. Although they did defently make up for it with the free Bretonia DLC, which is amazing, though a bit hard to play as.
