So good it's ruined just about every other game for me.

It's a better Shadowrun game than the Shadowrun games.

This remaster is a total slam dunk. It's so good I want Skunkape to skip remastering the other two seasons and jump right to making a whole new adventure. Please God just give me one more new Sam & Max adventure before climate change kills us all.

Far Cry 2 has you taking on the role of a borderline anonymous mercenary, from among 12 such characters, and lets you loose in a central African country embroiled in a civil war fueled by a steady supply of weapons brought into the country by an arms dealer known as The Jackal, who you are tasked with finding and killing. In your quest you will become entangled with both warring factions, the Alliance for Popular Resistance and the United Front for Liberation and Labour, as well as the organized Underground, refugees trying to flee the violence.

The gameplay is relatively basic. There's no crafting, no experience points, no skills, no executions, not even dialogue from the player character, and the stealth system is rudimentary and unforgiving. What you do have is your standard array of weapons: machetes, pistols, machine guns, rifles, rocket launchers, and a few other things such as flare guns, IEDs, and an explosive crossbow. And some vehicles to traverse the gorgeous world with like: boats, jeeps, dune buggies, cars and trucks.

And that's the real star of this game: the world. You spend most of your time alone in nature with only the sounds of nature to keep you company. The wind blows through the grass and trees and the entire scene feels alive and physical as everything moves about you. It's an experience slowly drifting downstream in a riverboat at sunset with a swampy mangrove on either side of you and the sun coming down right in front as the light trickles through the trees. Fire can easily catch and spread across the grasslands burning everything caught in the flames, which can be spread around by the wind. If you're not careful even the backblast from your rocket launcher can spark a blaze.

The game's not for everybody but I personally think it's hands down the best in the series. Check it out.

Fallout: New Vegas is the coolest, everybody my age plays it. You ain't cool unless you play Fallout: New Vegas.

First the bad:

-None of my changes in the options menu save.
-Anti-aliasing doesn't seem to work at all. There's no difference in picture quality on or off.
-Mouse control feels jerky.
-Graphic settings present in the original release are missing in this remaster.
-The 2K intro logo videos go on for waaay too long. Just let me skip them, I shouldn't be forced to watch them every single time I want to play.
-New bug has been introduced with the uncapped physics (sometimes when things collide they shoot off randomly at a hundred miles per hour).

Then the good:

-The new texture work is pretty nice overall. Not everything seemed to have received equal treatment, but its all still a faithful improvement over the originals.
-The changes to the lighting with contrast adjustments looks nice and enriches the moody atmosphere of Rapture.
-Physics are uncapped unlike in the original release so there's no more jerky ragdolling.
-The addition of a cut content museum and directors commentary is neat and welcomed. I always enjoy seeing behind the scenes stuff of my favorite games.
-Engine improvements that make this game run a lot faster than the original release.
-The addition of a new "Survivor" difficulty level. I always appreciate more difficulty levels.

Things that would've been nice to have included in a remaster:

-SSAO
-More dynamic shadows from lighting
-Holster weapon button--Rapture looks beautiful, let us explore it without a weapon constantly swinging onscreen.

If things could have mental disorders this game would be full on schizophrenic.
