This game is so full of bugs, it's unbelievable!
It's 2-3 years too early out of early access, i guess the 2 people who worked on this game had enough and simply released it. Writing on game menu all the time that only 2 people were working on it, will not really help.
Paid almost 11 euro for this "crap", too late to refund.

Please don't compare this abomination of a game with Gothic games! Not even with Gothic 3 addon!
After 3 attempts of playing this game i can only delete and wait for better times, but i think i will sooner experience the landing on mars then this game bugfree, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME!

If only these would be floating textures, here some bugs:
- floating textures
- Items disappearing
- spell scrolls disappearing
- spells disappearing in some hidden book and if you load the game all spells are gone
- spells not working, for example eagle flight is so painfull: you can't fly freely, it's so weird movement and also clipping through world if you use eagle flight and so on and so on
- quests bugged, for example if you load the game already after finding a tribe guy and fought the enemies and go to wendigo cave and back you are point of where quest was started
- not speaking about spoken dialogues, it's awefull, why not simply put a text and forget about speech?
- translation awefull, i think it's google translate
- quiksave not working, if you save you think it's saved, but no, it's not! Only the hard saves are saved.
- after loading the game all the stuff is back on floor etc, incl. quest stuff, text scrolls and so on
- very hardware demanding, unreal engine? but for unreal engine it looks so bad and still graphic card fan is very loud going to max speed, compared to Horizon Zero Dawn 2 where the 4080/90s graphic card is silent as mouse, it's really really bad optimized. I am not comparing this game with HZD2 in graphic quality but how optimized it is, and this game is far away from graphic quality of HZD2 and like 3 x HZD2 of hardware hunger!
-overall very bad optimized and 75% out of 100% of the whole game are bugs.

The only solution i see either you finish the game as fast as possible, don't do any sidequests or activities, go directly to main quest goals or the 2 guys will do some wonders and finish this project, which i don't really think it will happen.

So many better indie games outside there and this was simply lost money, here you go 2 guys, enjoy my money.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Svarog's Dream is a very nice and captivating RPG game with action and simple house building elemens!
It has a big world with a lot different hand designed locations and quests. The progress system is designed good and fair, even if you play on ironman it's still not unfair, you can always finish the quests and fight the enemies.

I decided to play as magic user, a fire & air druid, and had no problems to finish the game.
Achievements are well placed and not so easy to obtain but that makes the game even more better.

In has a philosophical touch about old gods, morale system and decisions you make.
If you want to explore every corner in the game, you will be busy for at least 30 to 50 hours.
The dev is active on forum and helping a lot!

Buy it and play it, you will not regret it!
Maybe one last tip: Don't save on god's blood herbs, make potions out of them, in the end it's more then 50 to find in the whole game.

Ladies and gentlemen,

if you want to play a really good designed RPG game with a lot of easy and hard to find secrets, nice spell system, very good game progress design and nice story, then buy this game, even at full price it's worth it!

I finished this game in 70 hours on highest difficulty and was captivated from start to the end. On normal difficulty you can finish it maybe in 40-50 hours.

The dev is really active on forum and helping a lot!

Buy it and play it, you will not regret it!
Maybe one last tip: If you are stuck somewhere, then simply progress further in the story, because you get more skills, spells and more companions, which can unlock more abilities.

Very frustrating game, some achievements are hidden behind other achievements.
For example: If you want to get a special legendary club weapon you need 1st to make another task which makes no sense at all why you should make it.

Very frustrating game!

At least 1 achievement broken!
Game design broken!
Super grindy game.
No story and no end, it's open end.

Max. 10 bucks worth.

If someone wanders why 100 hours, cause of super grindy content, to get some achievements!
If you want all achievements, you need like 200-300 hours!

Story/Atmosphere
Forged of Blood is a mixture of strategy and RPG in a fantasy world of Attiras. In around 72 quests and in 3 narrative arcs you will decide if you conquer your world by force or by solutions during story arcs. As info from devs there are 64 possible ending combinations. I didn't finish the game yet but i liked the atmosphere of strategical turn-based combat, character developement, resource management as of money, recruits and caravan transportation system. At the beginning you will be maybe confused about story and background but some hours in-game you will understand what is going on.

Technical/Gameplay
Tutorial and the point till you start the real war + reconquer are easy to do, but as you gain control later, you will see it like 60 days after tutorial, you can be frustrated. The 1st 1-2 missions are on average difficulty but then as you progress in 2nd region you gain quests where you simply can't win with your 4-5 soldiers against 2-3 waves of 8 soldiers each. Bowmen and magic users are not recruitable from start, you need to train them by yourself. If you couldn't get some recruits during tutorial maybe you need to restart.

On the other side you get a lot of options and possibilities to develop your own style: recruits have 4 core attributes, 10 weapon skill trees and 1 magic skill tree, general skill trees and so on. You can cast spells and fight with swords, you can always switch weapons during the combat. Magic system is little bit complex and with a lot of sliders on spell making, so you need to find out your own style. Level cap of recruits is 26 and you can command 3 war parties.

Interesting is also the philosophical system, where you decide in quests, speeches etc your alignment maybe, hedonism, altruism and rationalism. Your recruits have moral system, your regions have moral system, global system and so on.

Overall interesting and worth the money game, i miss only achievements, but maybe it's either from technical or other reasons not possible to make them now.

a mixture of System Shock and rogue-lite games

Story/Atmosphere
Void Bastards (VB) is a mixture of System Shock and rogue-lite games, but overall i think its a lite version of System Shock 2 (SS2), there is not so much detail and story like in SS2 but it's a very good designed game.

The campaign story In VB is told in cartoon snippets and the gameplay is also in cartoon graphic, but it's sharp and good designed environment and in most cases fair gameplay. As a prisoner from a jail-spaceship you will need to collect parts to build other important things to progress in game. The atmosphere in this game is good but somehow you can't really identify yourself with the protagonist. Nevertheless the story is funny, grinding is needed but has its limits and you can control if you want to board harder ships or not.

Technical/Gameplay
Gameplay is in most cases fair, but there are some frustrating moments. Whatever you collect as ammunition, fuel, food and money (merits) on 1 client or prisoner is only kept as you are alive, on death you loose this stuff but not the amount of 5 different types of material and already made upgrades, weapons or other cool stuff. That means you can't loose in this game, you only need to grind long enough to progress further. One of the important elements is that you can have 3 different gene abilities, either negative or positive, e.g. see all non-mechanical enemies on map. You can change these abilities later on boarded ships. There are 5 different fog-zones, the 5th is the most difficult but you can get there the most valuable materials and parts. From time to time you will meet pirates, star-whales and waste-collector ships. There are a lot of elements to discover and to see.

The ships are procedural generated but as you progress in game you will see more different kinds of ships and more different rooms inside the ships, like casinos, gene modifiers and so on. Overall the gameplay is good designed, but some weapons or gadgets are obsolet in later levels. There are times where you are in desperate need of ammunition, food and fuel, but you don't need to fight everyone, you can hide, run away or use other gadgets.

based on novel "Metro 2035"

Story/Atmosphere
I will judge the game itself not what happened around the whole "e" thing.

Metro game series are already a legendary piece of game history. The 3rd game in this series, Metro Exodus, is more then worthy descendant! It introduces open world, intense and immersive story, a crafting and weapon mod system and wodka!
I will not spoil so much about the story, but forget the dark ones from the past, forget metro tunnels, at least for 90% of the game, and welcome an open world with crazy characters, hungry shrimps and 3 or 4 climate zones. Basically you will enjoy your adventure in all climate zones: swamp and marshes, desert and forest.
You will meet a lot of crazy characters, some easter eggs, especially in the desert level , you will love them and you will spend a lot more time in the train then you wanted :-)
The most important thing in this game was the atomsphere and they did it really very good! You need to be careful all the time, go out in the night for hard missions, check always left and right, save your ammo and materials, check always what your team friends have to say. You will be curious the whole time: can i climb this tower, can i reach this island, can i get this thing etc etc.
Metro Exodus is definitely a master piece in my eyes and worth to play it more then one time!

Technical/Gameplay
You need a good PC to play it in extreme or ultra settings: i7 CPU, at least 1070 GTX and i guess even 16 GB RAM to get 60-100 fps. In my case on extreme settings the 1st huge map was the best in performance, 60-120 fps, almost no drops to 30. The 2nd and 3rd huge maps were not so good optimized, 2nd map was like constant 40-50 fps, 3rd was like 60. But overall the graphic quality was very good BUT some textures were wishy-washy, even if you go near them, but i think it was simply not possible to make all textures ultra sharp, cause imagine how long it would take to design a big ultra sharp metro world.
I played with Russian audio synchro and English subtitles, but you could see at least in 1st levels that the lip synchro is not fitting in millisecond range. Later it was ok or maybe you get used to it.
The crafting or weapon mod system is one of the highlights in this game: You need to search for new mods and materials and deconstruct or replace all enemy weapons. Weapons getting dirty with time and it's really crucial in the middle of fight to have clean weapons not to get weapon jaming. Imagine you play on Ranger Hardcore difficulty, your weapon get jamed and you are dead cause 3 cicimores reached you in this time.
Last advice: play it in Ranger Hardcore mode, if not on 1st run then on 2nd, this is the true way to play a Metro game! I still need to play it on 2nd run :-)

Brilliant game, more then worthy descendant of Metro 2033 and Last Light! Metro feeling in an open world, a thrilling story, unforgettable characters and passion for collection of materials :-)

Verdant Skies

Genre
Farming RPG
Version
1.2.6
Campaign
Yes, open end
Game length
15-25 hours
Difficulty modes

Achievements
easy to average
Special
Mods available

Story/Atmosphere
In Verdant Skies you crash on an alien planet "Viridis Primus" with some colonists. As you signed a contract with a big company you will need to work off your debts, let's say.
As time is progressing you will get more tasks/quests to fullfill, more buildings to build, more blue prints to unlock and so on. Your main goal will be to farm on this planet and earn money. With this money you can buy a lot of stuff, which you can buy and build more of other items. You will unlock 12 colonists, speak with them every day, fullfill their tasks and giving gifts you will increase their friendship till a point where you can date them and later marry .
It's a rather average to big planet area, where you can farm on different spots, mine in 2 caves, collect a lot of different stuff, like plants, rocks, scrap metal and so on.
One of the important goals or topics in this game is genetic engineering of crops and animals. It will be possible to change the genome of plants and animals that you can create a super quality yelding plant or something. I could design at maximum a plant with 4 quality options + yield 2 + growth rate 1 + 2 options without disadvantages .
Overall is the atmosphere in this game very nice and the music is not annoying. I read on dev's webpage that there are almost 40.000 lines of dialog!

Technical/Gameplay
Is this game grindy? To a certain degree yes, but show me a farming sandbox RPG without grinding. The goal in this game is to farm, talk with people and collect a lot of stuff. And this game does it very good!
I liked the rising difficulty to get some materials, but at any point you can get any material with hard work or time, there were no bugs which prevented this and i encountered almost no bugs and no crashes at all.
Some negative points were: the farming spots are far away from each other, a lot of walking even with special shoes later . Sapphire is hard to get in the start and scrap metal you can only get from collecting on ground, not buying. Overall is the gameplay fluid, every day you check your route, collect stuff and prepare new items.

This game is really really bad!

For achievement hunters and not hunters:
DO NOT buy this game on sale!
DO NOT buy a bundle only because you want to have this game!
ONLY by accident if you activate it from a bundle.

There is NO real story, a Hong Kong detective searching for a woman.
There is NO save system, i repeat NO save system for the whole 9 crapy levels, so you need to play this ♥♥♥♥ in one sitting and i guess only 5% of people will succeed, cause it is a hard game.
Enemies which you killed 5 secs ago spawn behind you as twice more.
Ammo is rare and also the most ridiculous point, if you shoot you generate so called ruckus, which if it reaches a maximum a big monster comes and killes you and you need to start from Level 1.
So you need to meelee all the time to be silent, means like there are only 3 melee weapons, wooden plank, pipe and bat, a monster on level 5 or later will take like 20 hits or something, you will never survive!
You have only 1 in words ONE life, means if you are killed in these 9 levels, where you can not save you will start from start.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy this game, such crap doesn't deserve money!

EDIT: seems like you need to finish 6 levels and then you are like back to start and repeat the same random levels, they are always similar, 6 + 1 more and again 7 + 1 and again 8 +1 and finish. Wow, such nice devs to create such masterpiece :-)

EDIT2: Game is broken! On 3rd run to level 8, you need to touch the orb on level 8 to progress and it crashes! No way to continue! Achievements also broken, since 2 years!
