Speed Freaks is a game that I feel a lot of people might sleep on. And with Space Marine II around the corner, even Warhammer fans might have a lingering eye.

But do not mistake me.

Speed Freaks is a gamers game. This is old school fun for fun's sake.

Remember Mario Kart 64? Remember Twisted Metal?

Remember all these old death racer games we grew up on?

Yeah well add those and mix it with some Green skins and you got Speed Freaks.

The joy of the game is it's simplicity at approach, but has enough grit underneath its wheels to give you the impression that mastery of any given vehicle is up to you.

And of course, like any true Warhammer game, you can paint your wagons Boyz!

Just remember, da red unz go fasta ya gitz.

A wonderfully unique resource management and city planner game.

Will you be a peaceful bobber? Or just another angry beaver?

MK 1 starts with what seems to be a strong offering for rebooting the series by flipping MK script on many of it's established charcters and narratives, before ultimately blowing it's wad on a third act that seems like it's just a wink and a nod to long time players.

Couple this with a multiplayer that lacks cross play, and missing training features, MK1 starts to feel like it's a work in progress.

However, there is a charm and appeal here, that I think will still carry the game if given enough support.

Don't write it off yet, but maybe not worth the full asking price.

Getting your pelvis obliterated by bosses the video game.

If you played every other Fromsoftware game, you're probably ready this one.

Don't judge this book by it's cover. The devs of Battlebit have very seriously thrown egg on the face of EA & Dice by showing everyone what happens when you just focus on tight as hell gameplay. An absolute blast and pleasure to play.

Twitch shooting refined to an edge. You'll curse your reflexes with every shot to the dome, but you'll keep pushing because the art catching bodies in this game is it's own reward.

Sets the kind of new standard that those that work on in game shops and battlepasses probably couldn't meet if given multiple lifetimes.

It's like a total war game with sprites, that can still drop down fps because of all the crazy stuff happening on screen. A wild and fun time passer.
