If you want to play a Battlefield game, this ain't it.

This game is "Battlefield" in name only. It's Frankenstein's monster in game form, stitched together out of parts from other more successful games without understanding what made them great. I don't know what audience it's trying to target but I know for sure it's not long time players of the series. If you were ever a fan of BF at any point in the past, even a little bit, stay far away from 2042.

Portal is the only decent mode but it's too bare bones right now so might as well just play those old games instead for a proper Battlefield experience.

The best Battle Royale I've played. 600 hours on Origin since day 1 and more to come on Steam.

I didn't like Fortnite for its building, PUBG is too slow, Warzone/Blackout too casual and campy, Hyperscape was mediocre and dead now, Firestorm was poorly designed and H1Z1 was pure jank. But this.... this game is the one BR to rule them all. When they fix the audio issues and increase server tick rate it will be perfect.

I went in expecting a neat little puzzle game similar to Portal, came out questioning my very own existence and the meaning of life...

This game is amazing: Looks beautiful, plays great, soundtrack is so peaceful and relaxing you can listen to it for hours, masterfully designed puzzles that strike almost perfect balance between challenging and frustrating and a philosophical story that mentally challenges you in ways you didn't think was possible for a game.

In short just do me a favor and buy the damn game already or at least on a sale but just do it !

Telltale applies their well known episodic adventure gamestyle to the Borderlands setting and it works surprisingly well. The comedy of the series is still present and even has been amplified probably to compensate for the lack of action that is usually in Borderlands. Tales from the Borderlands plays almost exactly the same like the other Telltale games: Some exploring to click on things, dialogue with 4 options, quick time events and making big and small decisions.

Like other games it also claims to be big on choices and how they will effect the game but like always it's really circumstantial and doesn't really effect that much. Some different dialogue, slightly different stance towards you from other character or an extra scene and what not. In the end every episode pretty much starts ends the same. Not really a game-breaker since I already got used to Telltale's so-called “choices” back in Walking Dead Season 1.

It does have an interesting spin in the last episode where different choices in other episodes give multiple options in how you approach the ending. Ending is still the same mind you but you can choose how you reach it. Although some decisions you had to make for different approaches are somewhat arbitrary and independent from the overall story. Like a random dialogue option in the heat of battle 3 episodes ago can remove an option at the very end... okay ?

So Telltale fans will really enjoy this even if you're not that familiar with Borderlands. Borderlands fans should also enjoy too because there are a lot references that only you will understand even if the writers takes some liberties with the lore (Spoilers: Like Scooter death and destruction of Helios, a moon sized space station, by freaking shock baton). And if you're a fan of both then it's a must buy and you should have played it by now :D

I can't really recommend this game unless you really liked Borderlands 2 and want more of the same albeit slightly worse. It adds very little other than just a few gimmicks and the amount of content available in the base game is rather small. Although Claptrap DLC is pure comedy gold and actually pretty good but that's about it.

Presequel feels like a big DLC for BL2 and it easily could have been just that in the first place because the new classes are actually really fun to play. I found Athena to be more fun than most of the BL2's classes, too bad she's in a game that barely taps her potential. Also it doesn't help that the whole story of this game is a ret-con from BL2 which in itself was already ret-conned from the first Borderlands.

So I suggest maybe getting this game on a sale but don't expect too much from it or be surprised that you rather be playing Borderlands 2 instead.

A really fun FPS RPG that is all about shooting and looting with some great comedy so the game doesn't take itself too seriously. Best played with friends with each playing different class to complement each other abilities and make the team versatile enough so you can tackle any challenge and maximize teamwork.

The gameplay can get a bit repetitive depending on your preferences and especially when playing alone. Also to min/max your character you will have to replay the game multiple time on harder difficulties so some people might lose out on content if it's only played through once.

The GOTY edition offers a lot of DLCs but be advised it doesn't include everything. Besides the useless cosmetic DLCs, the Headhunter packs and Level 72 cap increase are sold separately but that is end game content for people who did all that came before.

Still the undoubtedly best 3D Fallout game out there. It comes really close to the brilliance of the original games and brings back some of the features that made them great. After all the time it still stands head and shoulders above Bethesda's attempts at this series with Fallout 3 and 4 by staying true the lore, adding enough options and choices for actual role play and having some good writing. Obsidian even added content that was planned in the canceled Van Buren so you also can get a glimpse of what could have been the real Fallout 3.

So in case you found Fallout 4 lacking in depth but enjoyed the setting of the series this games should have covered. Solid RPG mechanics, good writing albeit clunky gameplay due to the dated Gamebryo engine. Get the Ultimate Edition because the DLCs are great too.

So this game was extremely hyped prior to it's release with some people almost expecting it to be the “best game evar” equivalent of the second coming of Jesus Christ or something and got very disappointed when it came out. Unlike them I set my expectations accordingly and knew what was coming (especially after how Fallout 3 turned out to be and how superior New Vegas was): Elder Scrolls with guns in a Fallout setting...

Does it make it make it a bad game ? No. Does it make it a bad Fallout game ? Sadly yes.

Fallout 4 is less of a real RPG like previous games and more like an open world FPS with RPG elements. A very enjoyable FPS with solid mechanics and gun play combined with the so-called “shoot and loot” gameplay straight from Borderlands. I like Fallout and I also like Borderlands so enjoyed the game a lot as it is. Although admittedly as a fan of the series I wished it was so much more beyond that.

First of all role playing is severely limited due to your character having a voice and an established background like in Mass Effect. You can no longer create a personalized character with strengths and weaknesses. Now you rather play a slightly customizable existing character with almost no weaknesses thanks to the new perk system and no level cap. This means eventually you can be proficient in every aspect and become literately overpowered which is fun but also lacking in challenge even on survival.

Gone are the days of having a low intelligence character that is shunned by most NPCs because nobody understands an idiot so you get locked out of half the game. Instead the voice of the character limits the dialogue options to 4 generic responses: Agree/nice response; disagree/mean response; sarcastic/neutral response and asking a (sometimes dumb) question. Rarely any of those options have a significant impact on the conversation so they start and end the same regardless how you reply.

The world is very beautiful and well crafted with many location having their own little stories which makes the exploration very fun trying to uncover their hidden secrets. But when you try to look more closely to the details the illusion comes crashing down. Why does nobody clean up or remove the skeletons from their homes ? Why so many location that should have been picked clean year ago have so much loot like they were untouched for 200 years ? How come the biggest settlements are built out of junk and rusty metal while a place like Covenant has clean houses and a solid concrete wall even though it operates at a loss ? Why so many locations have a lot of raiders which makes me feel that they outnumber the general population ? And the list goes on...

All of this might explainable one way or another but it doesn't help that it ruins my immersion for that moment So suspension of disbelief is kind of required to play this game which is sad because I feel it comes down the same problem that Fallout 3 had: The game take places 200 years after the war. The wasteland should not look that bad and devoid of life after 2 centuries. 20 years maybe because that would explain the lack of progress compared to say the west coast where most of the south west was united under one flag as a republic. So the lore again is being played loose and stretched so Bethesda can achieve that familiar post-apocalyptic setting and make the Commonwealth into the very definition of “wasteland”.

Bottom Line / TL:DR
In the end all depends on your personal preference. Did you enjoy any Bethesda RPG in the last 10 years ? Then you'll probably enjoy this. The gameplay is fun and there is enough to do and explore to keep you entertained for hours. Are you instead looking for a complex RPG full of depth and interesting mechanics as well as compelling story with well written character ? Then you probably better off playing Witcher 3 or waiting for Obsidian to hopefully release “New Vegas 2” in the future :D

Trials Fusion is a perfect time killer because you'll be playing and retrying all the tracks multiple times to get the best times. Thanks to the great bike physics this series is known for, the game is the very definition of “easy to learn, hard to master” and “trial and error”. So it requires a certain degree skill to fully enjoy but in my opinion it is extremely satisfying to see yourself getting better and beating that one hard track you've been stuck for so long.

The game is not without it's problems: Uplay is mandatory and still a piece of sh*t that nobody wants, micro-transactions (luckily only for cosmetics), DLCs are pretty expensive for the amount of content they offer (best get them on sale), multiplayer is dead due to being added really late paired with PC having lowest audience for Trials games and also a controller is required because keyboard controls are next to useless.

Many Trials veterans say that Evolution is better and more worth playing over Fusion for various reasons and they're probably right but I wouldn't know since I never got into Evolution when it came out on PC. The futuristic setting, electronic music and the ambiguous hidden story of Fusion was more interesting to me than bland old warehouses in a desert valley accompanied by rock music...

But I'm in the minority who cares about that stuff so this review is simply from a Trials noob who enjoy the game for what it is despite it's faults :)

I enjoyed it very much playing Deus Ex through this mod again. This graphical uplift and increased detail to the environments made the game for me more pleasant than the original. The modders took some liberties with the game but nothing too outrageous in my opinion since most of the it was more or less like I remembered but with the added detail that sometimes managed to positively surprise me.
The music is a miss though but it is optional since the original soundtrack is still available so that's a plus.

Some people in the community seem to really dislike the mod but I don't see why. Maybe I had to play the game 15 years ago and follow it religiously up until today including the mod scene to understand but I didn't, so f*ck me, right ? :D

Anyways, I recommend this to anyone who wants to revisit the game again under a new coat of paint before Mankind Divided comes out.
