Listen, Jannies. It's not the fr*aking hard to understand. The joke is that the store is named "Sneed's Feed and Seed", but the sign indicates that it was "Formerly Chuck's". Therefore, in order to maintain the rhyme scheme with the owners name, the store must have been renamed in accordance with its owner. Thusly, when the store was owned by Chuck, the rhyme scheme must have ended with the "-uck" suffix, but likely maintained the "-F" an "-S" prefixes respectively. Hithertofore, it is implied that when the store was owned by Chuck, it was named "Chuck's Feeduck and Seeduck", this is a hilarious joke as "Feeduck" and "Seeduck" are not currently words in the English language and therefore the name previously would not have made any sense which encapsulates the random humor of modern times. How did the Simpsons get away with it??
