I never thought I'd get as attached to a game like this (especially one that involves being able to aim), but this game does it. 425 hours in about 6 months and I still can't get enough of Warframe! I've even started playing it on Switch too (much prefer PC though).

Yes, it's grindy, but it's not too terrible and it feels so satisfying once you get that drop you were looking for. If you put any money into this game, it would be if you're impatient and want things to go faster or you just want that extra shiny cosmetic thing.
