Game seems like it could be fun but the controls are clunky, especially on PC, it's better if you have someone playing with you since all the story is doable in co-op and it also advances your own "worlds" missions if you join your friend. i chose nightwing for my character but i wish i could switch between all of them, maybe you unlock that later or i haven't found how yet?
Playing it on hardest difficulty doesn't feel too hard so far, the enemies feel a bit spongey, but it felt the same when i joined someone on medium difficulty. 6-7/10 probably

I enjoy that the character feel pretty different from other games i have played though i wish they'd tone down on the overtly sexual humour, it feels like every scene that is not super grim, one of the background objects will have a boobs or balls joke

VERY fun MONSTER HUNTER

Veilguard is the last game in the dragon age series, while i think it's not as good as the previous games in the story department it doesn't deserve the smearing campaign it has gotten.
A lot of the negative reviews are bringing up good points, but those that are under 15-20 hours and complain about the "woke" writing being in your face or how they have a trans character, then they haven't even met the one trans character . They are the last companion you get from the story so you only meet them around the 15-20 hour mark if you rush, i believe you can't get there faster at all. Dragon age inquisition had a trans character in their entry too, it just wasn't a companion and it was part of the entourage of a companion.
For those complaining that they changed dragon age, they are somewhat right, the game lost a lot of it's dark tones and it doesn't feel as "grimdark" as it previously was because of how events are portrayed or characters react, so i understand their distaste in that way.
Still, the story is okey, i came just from playing metaphor efantazio and i can't say that i hate the story of veilguard. The main story has some issues(more so if u played inquisition) but it's also pretty decent and the combat in the end is fun, albeit a bit repetitive if you don't switch stuff around a lot(which you don't have to do).
Companions are okey, some of them could have been written better while others are still really nice, they all have good base ideas, just the execution could have been better on some.
The game was shafted by it's own company, EA trying to push it to be Live Service several times, things you can see being remnant in some parts of the game so i am sure a lot of the issues with it are boiled down to executives butting in but all in all it's still a fun game and i recommend it if you want to try it.
THE VISUALS DO LOOK AMAZING probably one of the better looking games i have played. and it still has the dark vibes in some areas, for sure better than the trailer made it seem.

EDIT: I seen more flaws with the games as i finished playing it, i still believe if you are new to dragon age and this is your first game you'll enjoy it, but my opinions on the companions

Taash - writing could have been great, i wish it was, i feel like they tried to do 3 different stories where we focus on her identity, on her relationship with rivani culture or qunari culture, or the fact that she has traits of a dragon and that's why her mom saved her from the Qun. But neither of them gets enough spotlight since they feel disjointed
Lucanis - his story is fine.... if you don't know how the crows were before, they don't feel like the crows anymore. also I'm not a fan of spite's personality
Harding - she was fine, the idea of her story we saw in inquisition dlc already though.
Bellara - was a bit annoying at the very start but grew up on you! She could be improved in some respects to overall direction but she is fine!
Neva - Sherlock holmes of dragon age... except generic and not that interesting sadly....
Emmrich- hands down best NPC in this game, i thought i'd find him and mannfred annoying but i was wrong. his story is also the one that feels most impactful for him and final choice has a deep impact on him
Davrin - good romance, good character, sadly brought down by the other grey wardens in my opinion...

It's like vermintide 2, but a bit more complicated ig

One of the worst optimized games from a big IP that i ever played, while the game is a turn based combat with pretty decently good graphics, it runs much worse than it should for what it is. The gameplay is fun, and is probably the best part about the game, the dialogue and story is pretty whatever at times or downright cringe at other times. It takes the backstory of the comic's universe while adding the dialogue and personality of the MCU and making it more cringey/forcey than it was. If you want this game just for it's specific gameplay then grab it when its on a big sale, i seen this game go under 10$, but otherwise don't.

Atlus delivers another hit, if you like Turn based JRPGS then you would probably like this game too. Atlus builds the feeling of a brand new world with similar systems that takes elements of Persona( Social links/ combat / etc) and from what i heard also SMT. I liked that you didn't need to collect personas for specific skills since you have a class-like system unlocked for everyone, making it less grindy to get the build you want.
The setting unlike persona is medieval and i personally enjoyed it a lot, and the story as it goes on is pretty good.
One area of the game feels slightly more rushed towards the end-game since it doesn't have many zones on the map, making me think they'll plan to release an enhanced edition down the line with more content there, so maybe you'll like to wait on that. While the character story is also really good and intriguing, some of the characters designs could have been a bit different, i wish the MC didn't look like a copy of persona 3 character, same with strohl tbh, but other characters pick up in that aspect such as heismay, hulkenberg, eupha.
If you enjoy the persona game line and you would like to try a different setting then you should try this game out for sure :)
