The game is a good game, If they don't follow through on dropping the PSN linking, this becomes a negative review.

This game is a disgrace. This game exists to re-monetize Overwatch 1 at your expense, stealing the game you paid for and bait-and-switching you with a new pay-to-play "battle pass" system. This was done by promising a massive MMO-style PvE gameplay to justify the change to "Overwatch 2."

They have publically admitted they're not going to ever do that. So, they've stolen Overwatch 1 from you and replaced it with a worse version. Nothing that has been added to Overwatch 2 is recognizable as much more than a major patch and a new game mode (5v5 instead of 6v6.)

Players know this and overwhelmingly do not like the crappy new battle pass system. Will not be putting any serious time in this game unless Blizzard removes the battle pass completely. FWIW my preferred system is: pay $40 for all heroes, UN-PURCHASABLE free loot boxes.

I liked this game despite it's bugs and overall rather janky animations and phyics. I enjoyed it even when I went to a dungeon and got pushed outside the world due to a bug and had to suicide to escape an invisible wall prison. I really liked it because I like building. I bought (or was gifted) every DLC.

Funcom just slapped players in the face with an exploitative increase in cost for DLC. They massively increased prices, added time-limited FOMO battle-pass nonsesnse and over-all bypassed the Steam store review system as a way to measure whether DLC are worth your money.

I wouldn't recommend getting invested in building using DLC blocks since the new FOMO battlepass system is going to drag the experience down.

A genre-defining RTS. It's worth playing.

Wonderfully fun open-world game. Endless silliness while still having a mock-serious campaign to tie together your mishap adventures. Strongly recommend.

Campaign is broken. Game tends to crash during cutscenes, progressing far enough to delete your checkpoint for the mission, but not enough to let you move to the next mission. Super!

Dev knew about this bug in 2013 :)

There will be gizmos. An awesome game of resource gathering, wrapped in a never-ending puzzle of optimizing your industrial processes. The constant threat of aliens angered by your pollution spices up gameplay and makes expansion more difficult.
