Season 4 is a good one. Builds are buildable!!!

Coming from souls, I love the crafting in the game, HOWEVER... The irl timer for repairing the crafting stations is completely gross. That being said for those who don't know and actually read reviews doing the first upgrade to the blacksmith to make the ingots to upgrade your weapons requires you to wait, (after getting all the materials) 1 hour irl. This is honestly horrid.

Another point to make is the horrible optimization and yes I understand the game is still in early access (like every other game here recently) doesn't excuse the lack of options regarding graphics. No way to reduce shadow load on the gpu or anything. This lack of options has a tendency to freeze for a few milliseconds during combat which, with souls-like combat, happens to be a pretty big issue. I have crashed once so far about 30 min ago teleporting back.

Still after all this negative crap I would still recc the game maybe wait though.

For those wondering I have the ryzen 7 4800X 8 core 4.2 ghz processor, 32gb ram, and a RTX 3070.

I decided to try this game during the drought of good games when helldivers 2 was having the whole Sony shenanigans and I must say. The devs have to have been on drugs when they made the combat system. End game is literally an endurance test of "can you withstand getting swarmed and beat while your camera is upside down". In other words no its not fun to do anything other than the arena... try a different game.

Im not suggesting this game not because its repetitive but because GW (Games Workshop). For those who don't know they creators of Warhammer have decided to change some of the core lore of there universe to please a group of people. I cannot support this kind of behavior since to an original lore standpoint there were reasons the legion was that way...

Its been a long time since I've invested into a game this heavily without a care of time (Elden Ring). But if you enjoy ark and/or pokemon give it a shot. It also has some automation in it. Very well optimized from the looks of it as well.

UPDATE

80hrs in and finally catching the legendary stuff only lvl 45 and managed to make automated ore and coal as well as I have gotten into breeding and explored almost the entire map. Would still recommend the game.
End game seems to be breeding to make doomstacks with the "passive skills"

I stumbled across this game and due to the voxel decided to give it a test... I will say it needs an official discord to find groups to play with. I also see this having huge potential similar to Barony on a lighter and more simple scale. PLEASE KEEP GIVING THIS GAME LOVE Heroic Pyxel.. will follow along the development!!!!
1.3 hrs in on a single run just made it to the first boss and died!!!

If you want to play a game similar to this including the way they monetize the game, play Paladins... You can also change how the characters work along with having more in general..

Its honestly a great game, Unturned mixed with battlefield... Great for potatoes too. Honestly worth every penny, don't just take my word for it go watch some videos on it and such.

I don't make a lot of reviews, and this won't be a long review either... Their most recent dev update was in December 2022, as well as the shear amount of cheaters. I've heard from multiple sources on the internet that the game will be shutting down sometime in 2023. Just don't bother...
