I have only played RE2, RE3, and RE4 remakes. I skipped RE5 and RE6 based off what I've read online. That said, I can see how RE7 saved the franchise. While not phenomenal, it's definitely a step in the right direction and it does have an atmosphere that is eerie.

I am a new Resident Evil fan, I played RE2 and RE3 remake recently and loved it. That said, when I first started to play RE4 remake, I was a little turned off by it. In short, I felt like it wasn't a "Resident Evil" game. However, as I logged in several more hours, I decided to enjoy it for what it is. Sure, it's more action focused, but they did a good job making it action focused or they did a good job blending the elements of Resident Evil into an action type game. Overall, it's a hit or miss depending on what you desire most. If you're looking for something like RE2, this isn't it.

I really like to see Jill get infested.

The best Resident Evil unless they do a full remake for RE1 of course.

I can't bring myself to complete it, the game is boring and the story doesn't feel like "Mafia greatness" to me. I'm just going to watch what the story was about on Youtube.
