Only been able to play a little bit so far, and the game has been very enjoyable, its a great step up for the monster hunter series.

But the beta ran abysmally for everyone, linux or not, the benchmark ran terribly for everyone, linux or not (though granted it was a lot better and fixed a lot of basic issues on linux that made it unplayable, but not all), then the full game is out and it's not any better than the benchmark, and the game is still crashing and causing gpu timeouts on linux, an issue known since the first beta. It's ridiculous, especially since AMD is giving away the game with their hardware. CAPCOM has known about this for so long and could have delayed the release or put more money into fixing it, but they decided eating the bad press and fixing it later (HOPEFULLY) was the better option. Especially since World launched with terrible performance as well, this is very disappointing.

TL;DR massive props to the actual devs and designers for this game from what i've experienced so far, but I can't experience it because the higher ups want to rush things and not fix game breaking issues that most players are experiencing.

Don't pre-order games, stop buying games that sell a promise. This is the first game I've done so in many years and I've been burned. I'm glad I usually stay away from hype trains.

Ever since launch PMoon has been continually giving in to petty grievances by the Korean audience and recently fired a CG artist for being a feminist because a couple idiots hung out by the office. (This may be over or underselling the situation I do not know at the time of writing and frankly don't care).

I cannot play a game that oppresses people over something this stupid regardless of the external conditions and I encourage you to do the same.

Has the most beautiful movement controller I've seen in a game, really addicting gun mechanics, great graphics. Not much else to say, this game just bangs.

This game is really fun for anyone who enjoys some zombie survival.
