This game has come a long way from where it started in 2015 and I'm so glad many people gave it another chance, it's really looking a lot like the game we were teased with at E3 all those years ago. There are still some kinks to iron out; I'd really like it if you could start in the same system as your friends when you create new characters in multiplayer so that your friends quests aren't 600 light-years away; the planets don't actually orbit the sun, so you see the same stuff in the sky every day; the planets are WAY too close together and appear absolutely massive in the sky.

It's far from perfect, but if you like Minecraft and Ark and space, and you're okay with a game with limited (but still fun) multiplayer, this game is a blast.

Now that Terraria's Journey has reached its end, it's up to the community to provide new content for the game. tModLoader is very easy to use and even has a built in mod browser, so you can download and use mods directly within the game client rather than trying to hunt and peck on the forums or shady-looking websites. I'm very glad that I can now have two separate installations of Terraria with Steam support!
