The Suicide of Rachel Foster is a masterpiece in atmospheric storytelling

I second this.

The Suicide of Rachel Foster doesn't need to hide its presence in this swamp of games flooding the market.
It's a sure thing: If you like fairly-slow paced single player games that are story-driven, you're probably gonna like this game.

I've played a bunch "walking simulator" games before. "What Remains of Edith Finch" is still one of my favorite titles, generally, that I've played in my life. Both games, "The Suicide of Rachel Foster" and "What Remains of Edith Finch" I completed in a single session.

Store-page contains enough information about the game itself. Since there's a lot of spoilers that could ruin the experience of playing this game, I'd say you either pick it up because you know you're not expecting anything else than a nice, fairly short single player game, with a nice atmosphere, in my opinion great dialogues and a well-written story.

Especially the dialogues between Nicole and Irving throughout the game are great. Especially now with the 75% discount I definitely recommend picking it up.

Before you keep searching for reviews:
Just don't. If you're looking for a game that will cause you shiver - simply buy it and don't eventually let reviews spoil you in any way. Visage is at least a decent 8/10 for every horror fan out there.

Silent Hills PT?
Visage is a psychological horror game played in first-person.
There's no way to fight anything physically surrounding you. What's great.

Visage doesn't rely on jumpscares behind every corner. While paranormal events are happening on a regular base. Those paranormal events maybe scare you for the first few times, but you will most likely get used to it. Still, they add a whole lot to the atmosphere.
And that's the great part about Visage. The atmosphere.
Personally I didn't play many games compared to Visage. But one's for sure. If you liked Silent Hill PT, you'll love this game.
Sure, that's exactly what most reviews are saying. But that's all you need to know. It's all I had to know about Visage, to be convinced.
The atmosphere is slowly becoming more frightening, but once you started a chapter, the game will actually start. From now on, there might be something that will start terrorizing your mind.

Low-key Spoilers
Are there jumpscares in Visage? A few. But definitely good ones.
Pretty unpredictable in my opinion. As I mentioned before, you will most likely notice after a while into the game, that there aren't as many jumpscare as you might think. But don't let the game fool you. :)

Should you buy it?
It's that simple: A "must-play" for every player out there that's into horror games.
