This game in general is a beauty, u just love how this game works. First of all, the basic, survival. This game really brings u into surviving madness. The survival aspect of this game is amazing, I love how u control ur hunger, I love how u build house, I love how u hunt some animals and else.

Second, story line. If surviving not enough for u, then this game have some well made story about how u gonna find ur little Timmy lost in the forest. The mystery, the puzzles it just well made.

Third, multiplayer. For me, this game best played in multiplayer, this is a complete opinion. It is just like minecraft but more realistic. Just gather with ur gangs, then slay some cannibals or mutants, its really fun.

And I know, by now, this product no longer updated by the dev team. But it's all for a good reason, they're working on the The Forest 2, Son of The Forest, so it's kinda acceptable, last updated i thing 1,5 years by I uploaded this review, it's a long time, but I can't wait for the second the forest too as well. Keep it up dev.

Pretty basic UE4 engine but its still a fun game to play.

It is an actual mobile game

u're not playing this game coz u found one of this, u're not also playing this game just because its better then another tank shooter game. This game, compared to another tank shooter game is bad, so bad.

But if u once enjoying this game coz u're playing this game on ur mobile, it is good. It is a mobile game that launched in steam, and made playable for PC.

For me it's fun, just because I used to enjoy this game with my phone, then try it out in PC, its a full grinding, pay to win, and I can't even say competitive, even if there is a tournament for this game, but for the normal matchmaking, it's not competitive. But more of those negative thing, I still enjoy it.

If u want to play this game, try out the mobile 1st, then come to this game. If u just looking for the best PC tank shooter, this game is not even close to that, or if ur PC is a piece of a potato, this game might be for u.

Addiction Just Addiction

I started to play this game when the operation burnt horizon is on, and I just love it. I love how the game works, I love how this game require hard strategy to worked out, I love the 1 hit headshot mechanics and so on.

There's so much content in this game, like the dev give so much effort into this game, new ops each season, update and so on.

But then this might drops a problem, there's so much content that maybe for some new player it's hard to get on to. I think when I first started, I took probably 100 hrs to fully understand the game mechanics, maps, ops, and of course with their own special and unique gadget. This is a problem, but when u already pass that learning phase, this game is amazing.

And btw buy the deluxe edition, It cost slightly expensive the the original one but it saves u a lot of time in grinding towards unlocking new ops
