Completely worth the 70$ and if you liked the original Silent Hill 2 it is a no brainer to buy this game. They took the Original and slapped insane graphics and a better third-person camera with an expanded story onto this game, and they did it in the best way possible. The atmosphere, the ambience, the sheer amount of stress but implemented in a way that makes the game good. Can be related to Outlast in the way that even though you can defend yourself in this game, it's almost like there's absolute suffering and pain through out the entire play through, whether it's the music, the sound effects, the visuals, being chased, the combat, the unexpected encounters, the mentally twisted characters, or literally anything else in the game, it's all suffering and agony and morbidly terrorizing. Seeing Pyramid Head in these graphics was absolutely insane as well. I also didn't experience a single bug, or anything game breaking. Everyone should play this game!

There is absolutely not enough good to outweigh the bad in the current state of Overwatch 2 so this review will be simply about everything bad in the game.

Heroes -

The Overwatch 2 developers have a SEVERE problem with balancing heroes in the game. The 2 most recent heroes released into the game are Mauga and Venture and both of them have been broken as ♥♥♥♥ upon release, though Venture has not had as much of an impact on gameplay as Mauga did, there is still no excuse to why there are play tests for these heroes before they are released and yet the developers don't even take a hint from what the player base criticizing even though they claim that they are "listening." God forbid thinking the developers are listening nor have a brain at all. The sheer amount of time that it takes for the developers to nerf the heroes even after all the complaints is mind boggling. They act like it's hard to understand that the real minds behind the changes made to the game should not be some lgbtq soft ass snowflakey ass people, and should be people who know how the game plays and are actually good at Overwatch. The current meta is absolute CC hell, genuinely 90% of the games I queue is against Doomfist/Sombra/Junkrat/Venture and even though there are 40 heroes in the game, you commonly see about 10%-15% of those heroes in game being played. Why is that? Because somehow meta's overtake the way the game is played every single season because the developers couldn't get balancing right if their life depended on it. I really don't even need to explain it just go pull up a picture of the board of directors of Overwatch 2, you wouldn't even want people that look like these people handling the development of ANY game you like. It's a disgrace!

The so called "mitigation of disruptive players" -

They literally ruined Overwatch 1 by releasing Brigette and somehow did not understand how broken the hero was for so long that the game started dying. Being Blizzard Activision, they were so embarrassed and so afraid to lose money that they had to re-brand the game as "Overwatch 2" and even that didn't help enough to TRULY bring the game back alive so in the state it's in, it's closer to actually dying as a whole than being even close to as popular as it was. Now that the player base has died down so much they are able to focus on silencing/suspensions/banning way more effectively, but they are doing it in entirely the wrong way. The whole Overwatch 2 player base is the actual softest people I've known to exist on this planet. If you say ANYTHING other than something as positive as you can humanly possibly be, then you'll get silenced and then suspended faster than you can blink. Since the whole board of developers are just as soft as the player base, they cater to the people who report so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard that it ruins the game. Just read a story yesterday about a collegiate Overwatch player not being able to participate in a tournament because he got a ban on his account for simply saying the words "♥♥♥♥" and "♥♥♥♥" and that is IT!!! They also will not reverse the ban! When you go in the settings in Overwatch for text chat, you can see there is a friendly option and a mature option, the mature option will uncensor profane words and even though what he said isn't slurs, he still got a ban for it that's irreversable. I mean talk about a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless worthless no brain snowflake developer team. It's an absolute disgrace to gaming and Blizzard shouldn't even have the luxury of being multi-billion dollar at ALL! And what it really comes back to is the complete ideologue's to being part of the lgbtq community. The entire game is centered around that, mentally illness needing to be treated specially kind of people which is why they'll just suspend people based off of reports alone and not really checking what is going on and why a player should be suspended or not.

Leaver penalties -

As the years go on Overwatch becomes even softer and softer and a prime example is the leaver penalties. Forget about the penalties for leaving a competitive match, all of that makes sense because it's the actual competitive version of the game so if you leave then that's inexcusable. But I have never EVER seen a game nor a competitive E-sports game for that matter, suspend players for leaving the "casual" version of the game which in Overwatch's case it's Quickplay. I mean there has to be some of the most unintelligent minds over at Blizzard Activision working on this game like you really can't make this ♥♥♥♥ up. They talk about the "quality" of games and that's why they should have a penalty for people that leave Quickplay games and now with the season 10 update most recently, there's not only all of the penalties for Quickplay they had previously, but now there is up to a 48 hour suspension from queuing if you leave said games. That is the definition of bad game design.

The Final Point -

All Overwatch is now is capitalism ridden greedy hive mind company Blizzard Activision that lets the entire mentally ill human failure lgbtq player base con them into being as soft as possible and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ destroyed the game! I guess it is 2024 now where you can identify as anything you want and be anything you want and behind all delusion in that, somehow it's true in the minds of those people and everyone wants an A for participation kind of thing. Overwatch is mental illness chemical imbalance incarnate! GG WP!

Was easy to get through this game in under 6 hours and it crashed a few times and even froze my PC entirely once, but other than that it's a masterpiece!

Having bought this game on release, it was complete garbage because of game breaking bugs and glitches. But now I can say that this game is as complete as it will ever get. There's virtually no bugs/glitches left and they've now improved vehicle handling drastically, made the game more immersive in multiple aspects, and have added a fair amount of new content since the release without an impactful DLC expansion. Would recommend this game to anyone who still thinks that this game is as bad as it was on release.
