A slow and methodical tactical shooter that requires patience, planning, communication, skill and lots of practice... Or just rush in/spawn peek the s**t out of people.

THE GOOD-
Ubisoft continues to deliver new content and quality of life updates to keep the game evolving.
Graphics are great and the game runs well.
The player base is much like CS:GO but a bit more respectful and mature.
The gunplay reminds me a lot of the old games and the leaning and prone systems work well.
A decent selection of weapons for most characters.
Some interesting and useful gadgets to use during operations.
Casual games are good fun.
The Ranked matches are intense with a good team and evenly matched opponents.
Levels are very well designed for the most part.
The destruction and breaching is a great.
The sound is fantastic, hearing enemies try to creep across glass and debris makes for really tense moments.
Single player scenarios help you learn basic game mechanics and map layouts.
Training grounds is great for aim training.
Private games are available for testing strats or just messing around.
Weapon customisation is balanced.

THE BAD-
New maps are confusing and a lot of the hallways and rooms have no distinguishing features to set them apart.
As with all competitive games you will encounter cheaters.
Directional audio is sometimes broken.

THE UGLY-
Some massive issues that need fixing.
Blatant cheaters never get banned.
When you actually get a non-cheater match the players are almost always above your skill level.
Ranked 2.0 has ruined the competitive game mode.
Rank is meaningless now and your skill is decided by "hidden MMR"
Developer cares more about content creator feedback than the majority of the player base.
Almost all of the new maps are so poorly designed that players still have issues navigating them.

9.5/10
My favourite competitive game.
