The way people talk about Outer Wilds after playing it has become kind of a running joke, like they'll say it's a life-changing experience and one of the best games ever and you'll wish you could play for the first time again and yada yada yada
So instead of indulging in that, I'll just say that all of those sorts comments are pretty much spot on, and I'll very be lucky if I ever get to play one single other game with exploration and a setting this well realized. Knowing that this powerful a game was made by a small indie team when many AAA studios wouldn't even think of half of the stuff this game offers is inspiring as ♥♥♥♥ man. So much more to say but this is indeed an all-timer

Not much to say, just really damn good

The future of Souls-likes is looking bright indeed

The core of this game is strong: visuals, gameplay, sound are all there in full force. Unfortunately everything surrounding that is poor: progression, optimization, story (as someone who wants to get into 40k the "story" in particular is pathetic). Narrative aside, once those other two issues get ironed out chances are this will be held in the same regard Vermintide 2 is currently, pretty positive. But if you're like me and you want to get into 40k, this ain't it (yet!).

Not perfect but I think it rivals the original. That alone is something worth celebrating.

Edit: Nevermind after a second playthrough on hardcore NG this might actually be better than the original, somehow

This is the best Western RPG ever made and one of the best games ever yet it was made in only 18 months. This game is a miracle

A deeply thought-provoking work that reminds me of the power games can have. If you're at all interested in games as an art form this is an absolute must. Clunky combat aside, Torment offers some of the best story, characters and writing full stop.

A game I want to love but it's constant grind and survival mechanics aren't fun to me. Massive respect to Hello Games for turning this entire game around but it's not for me.

My first VR game and I doubt anything will be able to top it.
