Not gonna lie, game is super fun with friends, but competitive is just way too toxic and unfun, specially if you're solo q.
Game has some heavy lag with Dr. Strange and multiple projectile handling that might even crash some clients.
Add a solo queue rank because solo MM is appalling, fix the performance issues and maybe address balancing issues with certain characters so the game doesn't feel that oppressing and meta stuck.

shout out to the Iron Fist mains calling their teammates the n-word

I won't recommend it to new players in this state, hope it changes for the better soon.

Played this 3.5ish years ago, huge downside with the paywall with the 3rd party account, offline matches do not work due to an unknown bug, they randomly finish and selects a winner by random, the UI needs a lot of work, we had to do a lot of workaround to get the game working, we couldn't select a character, yes, I said "we", Steam Remote Play doesn't work, so I strongly recommend a remote app for this.

Bugs can be tolerated, but bugs that crash the lobby and matches, are really hard to ignore, do not charge for a game that stops/prevents the player for playing the game.

I barely see a dev responding to critics, but oh boy, this is probably the worst response I've ever seen, if you read my previous review, I CANNOT PLAY A FULL MATCH OFFLINE , how is "Get someone else to pay for online so they can host" a solution, and don't say "We don't have the playerbase for making the game free to play", First make the game work, and you will hook players into the game, at some point they will buy skins for their favorite characters.

Game feels super optimized, still playing the campaign at the moment, totally recommend.

Good to play with friends, extremely chaotic but fun, netcode can be improved.

I downloaded this to just play the campaign and it took me 4 hours to realize I wasn't playing the first campaign... it was removed, and cannot be downloaded again.
