Very good half-life clone, good gunplay, good level design, very good ai (got flanked a bunch). the writing and story are the weakest parts for me. I think its fine that the player character has his own personality and voice but I draw the line at repeating quips. the opening level also has writing issues, but its the opening level so it doesn't really matter

Amazing game, unfortunately its open world is a bit mediocre for me but that's mostly due to issues i have with fast travel

Very good action, very good level and arena design. The horror elements aren't good but the pause between combat and exploration makes for really good pacing.
Due to corporations you cannot buy the game by itself, you have to buy the complete pack for $55. FEAR 2 is alright but FEAR 3 sucks. Please wait for a sale, trade tf2 items for a copy of it, or acquire a CD code through a legitimate marketplace that I am not aware of

I listened to the soundtrack for nearly 7 years before i actually played this game

the game play is amazing, they got the player powers and gunplay right. sadly the only way to enjoy playing the game is to mute character dialog or delete the voice line files all together. I am not exaggerating in the slightest when i say that this is one of the worst written games i've played. terrible jokes, cultural references and memes that were dated half a year before release. The main twin villains are terrible.
