How low can Paradox keep sinking with each release, be it a new DLC or game?

While I can't say that I'm an OG Victoria fan or that I even care about the vanilla experience that much, I still feel robbed after having paid for this sort of content by pre-ordering Victoria 3's Grand Edition.

Inb4 you look at the ammount of hours that I have in Vicky and ask me why I bought the game and the most expensive edition if I'm complaining and I don't even like Vanilla that much, I'm just letting you know that I bought it in order to continue my megacampaigns for the most part, same with its predecessor. Plus, the Review's Steam page has two buttons, asking if I recommend this game or not, so that's why I'm giving this game a negative review in spite of me liking it in my own way.

There's also the fact that naturally, buying this game's most expensive DLC in the form of an expansion pass would mean that I'd save money in the long term. What I didn't expect was to be ripped off this badly. Plus, as a preorder bonus Paradox gave us Vicky 2's soundtrack remastered. So yeah, I guess you could say that I'm part of the reason that the gaming industry is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that it currently is, seeing as I preordered a game that had DLCs being announced even before the game had come out, another red flag. Well, I can't say anything in my defense other than I didn't give money to Paradox directly, as I bought this game off Eneba.

It is known that Victoria 3 had a rushed release date and that many of its core features are still being worked on. That makes us the community the unpaid beta testers. Paradox still hasn't delivered any sort of meaningful content to Victoria 3 for your information, which is even more egregious for fans of OG Victoria 2. They had to wait several years for a game that essentially ♥♥♥♥♥ on the memory of its predecessors by being severely undercooked, flavorless and empty overall.

Don't forget about the whitewashing of History and how the game tries to tiptoe around serious subjects, thus making its believability essentially null. During the dev diaries for this game, the staff that was working on this game was clearly composed of diversity hires and they could very well be the culprit as to why this game feels and looks so woke at times.

Seriously, why did Paradox have to lay off their own Q&A team? Isn't it making enouph money to afford it as it? People seem to often forget that the quality of Paradox's products has been on a steady decline ever since that company went public and that Paradox brought it all upon itself.

So, should you buy this game? Absolutely not. If you really must buy it, wait at least an year or two so that we can beta test the game for free for you and then buy it during a sale or on a gaming key website like Cdkeys. If you're a Victoria 2 fan or even a fan of the first game, stay tf away from this game like the plague.
