I understand the reason behind most of the changes is money, and as a Free 2 Play game it needs to make money somewhere but instead of relying on better cosmetics and an improved pass system they have shifted to putting a paywall infront of progress.

The only reason weapon XP exists and Aetherite as well as options to level weapons is because they can slow the XP gains to put a grind on Free players making people wanna buy the Aetherite Crystals from the store to reach max level.

The huntpass now has to be purchased each season as there is no longer plat drops from the pass

Weapons themselves need to be purchased from the store and same again the token grind is so bad that it makes people want to buy the tokens from the store.

These elements and more have forced me into beleive despite it being repeated by the devs over and over that they are listening to Player feedback the truth is they are not.

There is not a single player that would have asked for any of the changes that have been implemented.

Now dont get me wrong I will still play to see what direction this takes but im guessing its downhill.

I just wish along side this we got a massive amount of new content, new modes, new weapons aka BOW!!!!!
