I have liked this game since I played the Demo, so I bought the early release version and I have no regrets. As a not so great souls-like player this game can be really hard, That said I don't think its unfair and I am not going to lower the Difficulty. I do like the fact on Bosses you still get XP for making attempts. Makes it so you don't have to run around and kill trash mobs to try and level up. Combat feels really good, I went with the spear this playthrough.

As far as technicals go. It runs smooth. I Don't have a beast of a system but I am running 1440p with a RTX 3060ti and getting a consistent 120fps. I have had a few frame drops hear and there but nothing really to complain about.

I'm surprised how much I like it considering the Anime art style usually isn't my thing. All in all I think this game is good And was worth the money I spent.

I am not really sure what to say about this game. Luckily I haven't really had to many issues with how it runs on my computer. Sure the frames dip a little but I haven't had any in game crashes or severe frame drops or anything like that. The only issue I have had is upon closing the game out sometimes I get an application error. But it happens after i close the game not during or anything like that. So as far as technically for me at least the game runs okay.

Now for the gameplay. Its fine. Nothing really spectacular, but also nothing bad. It's hard to put a finger on it. I do play the game on the Normal setting because that is how I try and play every game. If anything on that setting at least so far the game seems a little to easy especially for a "Souls like" I had a hard time with the tutorial bosses before you get to the open world, but since getting to the open world it seems very easy. I am just finishing Chapter 1 and maybe as I get in to Chapter 2 and 3 the game will ramp up. But so far it is not as hard as say Nioh 2 or even Wulong.

Overall for me at least the game is fine there is plenty to discovery and do to keep you occupied hence why it took me so many hours to just finish chapter 1. I would say again its fine, but certainly not Team Ninja's best work.

This is my second attempt at trying this game. The first time I had never really played any souls-like games. This time I have played quite a few and thought I should have an easier time. I even finished Wu long Fallen Dynasty which is another team Ninja game. Well I was totally WRONG. This game is really complex in the sense of how many moves and timing of moves. Its not just parry and dodge like most other souls games. What makes it even more difficult is I play with mouse and keyboard and some of the button press get complex even after changing some of the keybinds.

All that said, I am liking this game. I'M SLOWLY getting better and I really hope that I can finish so that I can be prepared for a Nioh 3 if it ever comes in the future.

I Think this game is fine. I say that with a BIG caveat, I only paid $4.99 for it and the Deluxe edition upgrade on the last Steam sale. For that little amount of money the game is worth it. Now if I had paid the full price of $99.99 that it is normally this would be a whole different review. But for what I paid its worth it. Especially since they added offline mode. This way I don't have to worry if they do decide to take the servers down. So if you can catch it on the next Steam sale for a really good price I would recommend it, but not for the the full price.

I have played and finished every Dragon age game. Now go ahead and ask me if I remember or care about any of the story. Truth is for me story in games is not my main focus, I barley remember most of the characters except Varric and Solas and I did not play the Inquistion DLC where supposedly most of the story of Veilguard is coming from.

All that is to say this game is for me fine. I am more interested in character building, loot and fun combat then story telling. So far on that front the game is doing okay for me. Only "bugs" I have gotten so far are some heavy framerate dips from time to time.

This one is tough for me, I just recently finished the first one and was looking forward to this hoping they had made some improvements especially adding more "Action" to the Action-adventure game. While they did lessen the amount of puzzles this game, what Puzzles they do have are much more convoluted. If you like story in games you probably will enjoy this. I however like to PLAY games not watch them. If they made God of War the series I would watch that. But this is God of War the GAME and I would like to play more of it.

There are certain sections of this game that really annoy me. I wont spoil anything but to say one of them has a Yak involved in it. Also there are some areas of the game that once you go through and say you missed something, it suddenly gets locked off and you can't go back until near the end or at the end of the game.

I know for the most part this game has been praised, but for me it's kinda just "meh" so far. Its not a bad game by any stretch just not what I personally like that's why I am still giving it a thumbs up. I'm not finished yet and maybe by the end Ill change my mind, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I have owned this game for awhile and just started playing it because I want to buy Ragnarok for PC and figured I should play through this one before getting that one. I am not much into story driven games and this game is very story heavy, but not as bothersome as I feared it might be. That said, one thing that annoys me is how many puzzles there are in this game. it seems like EVERYTHING is a puzzle. Don't get me wrong most of the puzzle are not that hard its just the quantity that gets me frustrated. It almost feels like there are more puzzles then enemies to fight.

The game runs fine on my PC and I have not as of yet had any crashes. The graphics look great for a 5 year old game and over all I am enjoying it.

I like this game more then I expected too. This isn't a true souls like per say, I would put it in the vein of maybe the Remnant series. So far for me at least I have not run into any technical issues with the exception of a few frame dips here and there,

My only complaints Is unlike Remnant this game has no map whatsoever, no over map, no mini map not even a direction bar. I can get turned around pretty easy in these types of games and some kind of map would have been nice.

My only other complaint is about mouse and keyboard. I know the game wants you to use a controller, but for me that is NOT an option as I am TERRIBLE on a controller. The game somewhat lets you rearrange the key binds but its very limited. It also knows you if you have side buttons on the mouse but what let you bind to them, which makes no sense.

I am still early in the game at the time of this writing and other then those small complaints, I am enjoying the game so far.

I have seen so many people complain about the price of this DLC and the difficulty. I am NOT a good souls like player, simply speaking I kinda stink at them. That said, I use EVERYTHING that Fromsoft gives me to help me in fights. NPC Summons, Mimic, buffs and The Scadutree Fragments and Spirit ashes. Also I use the Sacred Relic ( sometimes Blasphemous) blade as my main weapon believe it or not. So far the (and I have not finished the DLC) the only Boss that has made me want to break my keyboard and mouse has been Bayle (CURSE YOU BAYLE!!). Also since I dont PVP I'm Level 284 and not in any NG pluses. I just cant bring myself to start the whole game over its just too big to do that. So it seems to me that people who are complaining about the DLC have put limitations on themselves and get frustrated that the game somehow doesn't respect that.

As far as price goes. I feel I am getting more then my moneys worth with this DLC, It should really be called an expansion because it is HUGE! They could have made this as a whole new game and it would have been worth it even at full price in my opinion. Anyway my point is the DLC is great and I'm just sad that there isn't going to be more added to the Lands between or the Shadow realm.

I'm enjoying this so far. Seems like overall a good PC port. My only complaint is you cant skip any cut or dialogue scenes. I did pay full price for this and feel it was well worth it.
