Wouldn't ever recommend anyone to play this for "fun". Unless clunky group-CBT is fun for you. Then go for it.

I am not the kind of personal that usually plays games like this one.
However, it was paced so well, that it never got boring. Everytime you've been starting to get bored with what
you are doing right at this moment, the game throws something new and exciting at you.
Some more obvious things, some of them more interesting. Very casual and lovely game.

I don't like fishing, I don't like too casual games usually and I don't really like the kind of humour these kinds of games are usually going with, but Dave the Diver is definitly a charming game. Loved playing it. (Have about 50h more on my switch, bought it twice)

It's not only fishing too! You will have other stuff to do as well!
Hard recommend for anyone who looks at it and isn't immediatly repelled.

Early Access Review
Braucht 5-6 runs bevor es in Fahrt kommt. Danach macht's Spaß.
Klassische Features wie rerolls gibts erst über Items, die am Anfang sehr Kacke und nach etwa 4-5 Runs eben ganz passabel werden.

Believable relatable story. I had the impression that it's been well-written. It's dramatic, it's cute, it's wholesome and sometimes even dreadful. There are things that look a little rough around the edges. Timing during scenes is sometimes a bit off, and I think some lines could have been delivered a bit better.

By the end you are invested into the characters, or at least I was, and I think the question of "what do you DO, if you know the world is going to ♥♥♥♥?" was well explored. What if you are never allowed to reap the fruits of your labour? Or if you never had the courage to do what you wanted the most? Or if everything you thought was meaningful to you stops being a part of you?

If you are ok with the characters being silly dinosaurs, you should give this game a go. It's food for thought. I do like to remind myself what being human is all about, these days, so this was a very welcome experience for me.

I think this is a solid 8 bucks title. Good enough amount of hours and fun gained from it. Late-game a bit empty.

This is what happens when the developer team has people on it who get a boner from looking at random german words. The usage of the words literally doesn't make any sense. Bottom tier garbage of the highest order. I installed this after watching a stream of it, just to warn people to stay away from this. So yes, 10/10, would "the die Ketzer" again.

I'm not gonna lie, I "played" this on the easiest imaginable "difficulty" level and was entirely in for the story. So I do not really have a clue about balancing, as that seems to be an issue to a decent chunk of people. However, you may always change that - higher or lower, whatever you prefer.

I didn't play King Maker before this, and I just randomly bought it, because it looked similar to DoS2. I enjoyed the story a lot. It's also like.. the first RPG experience in which I ever enjoyed to be the bad guy. So there are multiple selections of paths you can go down (it's funny, cuz it's pathfinder) which all make you look at the story in a different way. So lots of replayability. In fact, this is also the first game I ever immediatly replayed for a 2nd time, despite spending 70h on the first playthrough.

Can definitely recommend if you're in this for a good time and an interactive story. But I can't really give you an honest opinion about the gameplay elements, despite the fact that there are a million options to build.
