The game somewhat runs fine after an hour of fine tuning but makes the game look bad also there was some geometry that breaks every now and then and it is HORRIBLY unoptimized or just performs TERRIBLY and I have a pretty decent PC. I CAN get around 50-60fps, with MASSIVE drop downs with settings on medium-low with a 3080. The frame drops are frequent. The game often doesn't look visually better compared to monster hunter world. often REALLY blurry and boxy sometimes or just looks like a ps3 game and runs worse. Even when the textures are on High. It definitely feels like they focused on elements the engine can't handle or something. Like open world and all of the other settings. Cutscenes are good.

The story is really lackluster especially with the pacing. There are a lot of staredown moments and long pauses with characters that take awhile with dialogue for an unnecessary amount of time or just you going at walking speeds. They try to act like we know these people and have a deep connection with them a lot of the time but it feels really awkward. The dialogue is often just REALLY bad, generally unlikeable. I just don't care for the interactions. Also, just really not a fan of most of the characters, people, or plot points that they keep pushing at a horribly slow pace. I personally preferred World's story more, and MH4U's being my favorite. The Cinematography or sceneplay is MOSTLY really good besides the character stare down, love the action shots, but it makes the story almost feel deceptively better. The only good thing about the story was that it was short and it had good food shots.

So far, Combat 8-9/10 Story 5/10 graphics 7/10? should be higher if I can actually utilize but it looks worse than many games I can play with worse performance. Endgame could save it for me.

Great game. Love it, mixed on some design choices from previous versions. From a gameplay perspective, I understand why they made powers easier to pick and choose, but seems more disconnected that you just get an element type from enemies rather than specific iconic spells from said enemies. The voice lines and some of the voice acting was a bit weird or jarring with rather odd sounding accents. Was a bit bummed by how dracula sounded, not a fan of how he sounded.
