Early Access Review
Waiting the game... the game has the worst paradox ever, you wait 2 mins or more each round to rush instantly to your death (or to kill someone sometimes) everyone run like they are playing CoD. It should be more tactical, more tools to use and counter. Something to make the game interesting and worth the 2 mins wait time between rounds.

Way too much waiting and not enough strategy.

This is the current best ARPG on the market combat wise.

The combat feel so good, with the support of controllers and the selection of difficulty you are sure to choose the best play style for you.

The current main issue in combat right now is melee feels week in increase difficulty.

I feel that for a first impression the game has good depth and I always want to come back, I played since day 1 of the pre-alpha and keep coming back for more. With the current state of the game playing on and off is fine, but if you want to make it your main ARPG and want to play like PoE you'll find the depth of builds lacking. Still I find myself changing equipment often and I find each drop interesting in their own way.

It's a relaxing ARPG when you are outside of combat not a lot of theory crafting, but the main fun is the combat itself, you need to think pay attention and watch yourself, a single mistake won't take you down, but you'll sweat and think twice before doing an other one. The combat feels engaging and it's not only on bosses, when you more around the world you can easily be surrounded and "white" monsters are still a threat.

There's nothing wrong with the game and there's more positive than negative, but I agree that if they keep the current depth, the longevity of the game will suffer.

It's an easy game to recommend even in the current state (they fixed a lot of connection issue). It's a perfect game for early access where you try a patch for a couple of hours then wait for the next one.

If you liked Wolcen, it's almost the same thing but this time with character classes. It's still early access, but it feel like a bad rip off of Diablo 3. They try to add depth in skills and passive, which is interesting, but the gameplay is boring, the UI is the same has D3 and Wolcen (personally those 3 games has the worst UI, they feel disconnected from the game with no flavor, it breaks my immersion and the font is the worst.)

You want to progress to build a fun build, but the starting gameplay is not fun, too much distance to run, in empty and vast environments. You receive and give too much damage making it a one shot fest. The combat doesn't feel challenging enough after level 3, I just stopped looking at my inventory, it was more of a pain to compare items and equip them than just keep running. I reached lvl 11 with my level 3 items and didn't feel the need to upgrade them since I was still doing decent damage almost one shotting everything.

The story and world progression is confusing and uninteresting. They tried to make the game more "open" by letting you go into different "path" but in the end you have one linear path making you traverse multiple area just to confuse you even more. So you go to map A to map H to map J to come back on map A but on the other side of a wall.

On graphics side I won't say too much since it's still Early Access and it's usually the last thing to be improve, but the animations are bad really bad. The overall look of the game is fine, but nothing surprising or interesting.

For me the most important part to change to make me revisit the game is the environments, make them smaller and a better balance on combat, make it an exchange of hits not an exchange of hit.

In this current state I can't recommend it.

Game is grindy but in a relaxing way, the game has a lot of little issues but overall a nice experience. The worst of all is the bad community, almost everyone is selfish and doesn't help. It's a MMO where you don't want to play with others and only want to team with them for certain things, but when you group up they wine and leave the second the group do a mistake.

Impressive for a single dude, still the game is not that good. If you remove the graphics you have a lower than average fps with fun mechanics but not polish enough to make them awesome to use. Really short, fine for the price. I had a some bugs and also the detection of actions is clunky. There's better game for that price and worst.

Pros:
-Made by one dude
-Fine Graphics
-Fun gameplay

Cons:
-Short
-Need Polish
-Buggy
-Unresponsive at time
-Levelling system

Love the choices you can make and the vampire fantasy. You feel like a human predator. Love also the way enemies talk to you and warn you to not go closer or they will attack you. The skills is a good improvement on the Bloodborne-"ish" combat. I think it's a really good beginning I want to see more!

The game is good but for a remake. I expected a little more, the secondary character animation would be nicer with a bit more FPS, the sound from zoombinis footstep are not there. Some sound aren't synced. The level with the hotel is set for a 4/3 resolution, the screen don't go all dark in a 16/9 resolution and the squirel girl disapear too soon. Still I will say it has the charm from the first one. A really good experience if you never played it, one of the best and hardest puzzle game.
