The reviews do speak to how great this game is. Started off quite rough with a string of bad runs, then I finally had that one perfect run. The boss fights really captivated me, and I probably plan to grind this game. Highly recommend.

A very addicting 2D game. Easy to get hooked in to once you know what you're doing. A little slow at first, but the weapons and unique boss fights keep the game fresh.

This is coming from someone who's entirely new to the Monster Hunter franchise, and all I can say is simply, Wow. This game had me hooked after fighting a couple of boss monsters and gave me a Dark Souls/Terraria vibe, and I instantly fell in love. It's been almost a week and I literally haven't played any other game besides this one. The story is pretty good, and the monsters look like, well, actual monsters. I highly reccomend this game for anyone who's a fan of grinding resources, getting stronger, and fighting clean, epic monsters. 10/10.
