This game is a classic through and through. This GOTY edition though ... is absolutely fantastic. Everything that the fans have been waiting for is here, took them a good bit, but it is here. This game was released to hold us back for BL3, and to be honest it worked for me. Menus and backpack screens move more fluid, plus the cell shading looks really fun and colorful compared to the dim and mostly grey colors we saw in the standard edition. All in all, i'm glad that Gearbox did minor corrections to the game, so that nothing throws you off the idea that this game is 10+ years old.


Besides some broken side missions not letting me turn them in, and a couple of guns disappearing through the floor, I loved the fact that I could go back to this classic looter shooter and get an understanding of where this franchise started and what it is now. Definitely give this game a try, it's worth it.
