A Game that Focuses on Standing Out
This was a game I was very excited for after the first preview I saw. The game-play was something that I was struggling to compare with to other games, which is a really good thing. Then I jumped in, found an engaging story, with comfy yet tense game-play at times. The voice acting is really well done, and allows you to connect to the various, deeply rooted characters of the game. From exploring various 'zones' to trying to survive different anomalies, you do nothing but experience the normal. I've had such a blast re-imagining a place so close to home, as I live near the Olympic Peninsula, and I cannot wait to dive further into the game.

I play for the great, jaw-dropping story! (Please don't mind the shirtless Leon mod I have installed...)

This game blew me away, knowing almost nothing before going into it.

When I started playing, I was just assuming another simulator, on the style of various simple simulator games. However, after a little bit of slow turning at the beginning of the story, the pace picked up. You are introduced into this dystopian society where many years have passed, exploring and helping the remains, and those who remain. You uncover secrets about where you've ended up, and help the entire society uncover the truths and escape from the lies from those higher up in power than them.

This game is phenomenal, and I would totally recommend it to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this game.

+ rep for cat that meows and does cat things.

Resident Evil Village was not only a visually outstanding game, but also a fantastic storytelling experience that ties in incredibly well with the rest of the Resident Evil series. I was left in awe, and just wanting more, as it not only fits in well (as stated) but also leaves plenty of room for expansion to continue on after this game. I felt like I could never get lost, as they did a great job at representing what you're supposed to do, without explicitly telling you how to go on with your gameplay. If you're a fan of Resident Evil, I highly recommend this game. If you're new to the series, and want to try out this game, I say go for it! (However, I do recommend to play Resident Evil: Biohazard first for a lot of context. Although, they give you a quick overview of it.)

All in all, this is a great game, and can't wait to see more.

Edit: GET THE DLC!! IT'S SO GOOD

This was one of those games I was very skeptical with as I walked in, telling my friends that I would only ever play it if it were with them, but oh I was wrong. This game hooked me (hah, get it..? no? moving on) with its game-play that never seems to be the same (or at least if you don't let it!). I have so much fun playing this with some of my best friends till 4 in the morning, or when I'm bored alone on a Thursday afternoon. You can constantly improve in so many areas which gives you that feeling of accomplishment almost every time you play. However, the game isn't all good, nor is any game for the fact. This game has a problem with matchmaking times, which yes, is for your sake (you do not want to go against a rank 1 as a rank 18!!) but it can take up a lot of your actual game time. There are also very weird hitboxes at times, where things will happen that you believe shouldn't have, but if you learn them correctly, they don't make much of an affect. Even with the flaws this game has, its amazing, and I enjoy playing it so much! Grab a group of friends and hop in, they make it oh so much better!

Among Us is a great game that just had regained its popularity from years ago. In the current state the game is in, I highly recommend it for anyone and everyone. Need a game to play with your friends? This game is perfect! (Even if it causes trust issues) However, let's talk about this game without your friends. Joining public lobbies can be fun, but it needs improvement for sure. Luckily for us, the amazing developers are working on ways to make those lobbies better for everyone! For the 20+ hours I've currently played, almost every last minute was with my friends, so I con't give too many specifics on what can be improved in public lobbies, but I can give my opinion on what is needed to keep the game alive, unlike many others from this year. Here is my list of things that could be added or changed:
- Built in mic system; alive people can talk during meetings, dead can talk whilst others are in match.
- New game-modes; with how repetitive the game can get, a good investment would be with other game-modes such as hide and seek and the "Michael Myers" game-mode. This allows other forms of gameplay.
- Roles; more roles was something talked about for the cancelled sequel of this game, but I sure hope they come into this game. Allowing new ways to find who the killer is and more to each room and/or area. (Lets say you have a scientist, they will do medical and laboratory stuff / The imposter may say they are a scientist but are doing things in electrical. Awesome new game-play)
- Colorblind Settings; I've heard much from the community about the lack of these settings, I don't know what would be the best option for this, but maybe have a colorblind setting that shows symbols on color-specific things. However, this is not my topic to speak on as I am not colorblind.
- New Maps; I would love to see new maps! However, I would like to see more differences between them. Like awesome technicalities that would be specific to each map. For example, a map with two floors and the imposter can shut down the elevator. Things that make them stand out from each other more.
- STREAMER MODE!; Have a streamer mode that hides the code from anyone who enables it, making it less likely for the public to get a hold of it.

Those to me are the most important things from my long list of wants. I would love to see what others think is valuable to this game as well. Overall, this is an amazing game that I believe everyone should try out!
