It's a totally immersive way to experience Half-Life 2. There are lots of good considerations for VR controls and motion. Performance is just perfect and setup was very easy.
The only problem is... Half-Life 2 is not paced for VR. At ALL. Gunfights are exhausting because of the sheer number of Combine. Contrast with the actual VR game HL ALyx where there are a maximum of maybe five per entire encounter. It's very fun but take caution, it's an actual workout.

Mid game that was recently completely broken by a 'next gen' update. Graphics settings that crash your game instantly lie in its own launcher options menu. They left the community to fix the game's rotten performance and then broke all its mods. Don't bother, the story isn't good enough to be worth persisting.
