Quintessential co-op experience, excellent atmosphere and very well done in aspects of combat, base building, exploration sense and progress.

Short: Neutral mediocre, weighed down by its core gameplay and horrid internet issues, add money hungry devs and you have the scourge of happiness.

Long: Writing a long version would equal me doing more work than the devs.

Railgunner being one of the most fun survivors justifies this purchase alone, but the added items are just perfection.

Void fiend is slightly tedious to acquire and not the most fun to play, and the enemies are very very hit or miss, but the new void fields are a fun little side challenge added to every other stage in a run.

The final boss is a resounding OK.

Get it if you enjoy the base game, the new items are pretty fun

Truly a neuron activating and exhilarating piece of software, carefully brought to you by the minuscule team over at Hopoo.

All 11 of the available classes feel wildly different (and for the most part) require separate specialized builds to maximize their efficiency. Not to mention all of them have their built in "satisfying" abilities.

The areas you visit are mostly vast and rich with atmosphere, and the enemies that are found there are easy to recognize and fun to fight (EXCEPT SOME).

Items offer varied effects with some minor overlap, and their stacking allows for some truly mesmerizing displays.

Might fry either your light receptors or cpu, but that's up to personal choice.

9/10, a modern indie masterpiece

Excellent artwork, enemy variety and designs, all the zones are interesting in their own way with additional loot types and quests, audio is perfectly crisp and invigorating, storyline is very interesting if you decide to sift through the notes your ancestor has left for you

Pretty much an abusive relationship in game format. The combat is satisfying - but only when you're not pulling your hair off from missing the enemy backline for the third turn in a row, getting critted for 80% of one of your party members health, getting put on death's door from a trap you previously scouted etc..

Do not get into this game unless you're prepared to be on edge the whole time, and accrue actual real world stress from having to manage not only your heroes, but the whole town aswell.

Badly balanced, takes way too much time for even the shortest mission type [1.5 hours for tutorial mission + first mission is absurd].
All attacks are way too over tuned, with about 5 effects each with MINOR changes.
Awesome art is diminished by borderline fetishistic designs, expect to see very clad muscular men (pretty much bara art tier) and overly well endowed women.
Have any leftover effects that need to clear up after a round ends? Expect to wait an additional 10 teeth clenching seconds every time.

Final, this is a waste of time, would be very nice with a huge overhaul to the combat and changes to many designs, but i cannot recommend as its not nearly to the level of enjoyment that the original game brings.

Highly, HIGHLY addicting gameplay with a very smooth overall feel. Graphics are okay and the sound design is fine.
Pachinko machine combined with an endurance test, good 7/10
