What can you do in Elite? You can be a miner, run errands for factions, drive a "rover" across the endless fields of lifeless planets, hunt pirates and enemies in combat zones, farm credits for the useless Anaconda (you'll still end up buying the Corvette and Cutter), and then you'll board a small jump ship and leave the boring "inhabited bubble" for the vastness of the galaxy. Jump after jump, from star to star, and when the solitude of exploration finally gets to you, somewhere out there, on the other side of the galaxy, you'll think—it's time to return home...
