Ea bad, don't play.

Used to have one of the best monitization options, and by that I mean you could earn skins you wanted for free.

Now they want to force you to pay for it, and cut down on the amount that you get at the same time, so it's a lose lose scenario.

Don't let them make this change with no repercussions, let them know what the people actually want.

Not as good as the first game sadly.

In the end, i just got sick and tired of having to fight 8 tanky enemies over and over again,
and since they all attack at once, those damn fights end up taking as long as boss fights.
bosses just cycle the same 2-3 attack patterns, until they are dead.

Characters didn't really feel like they progressed over time. aside from 1 plot twist, you could pretty much guess how the entire game turned out.

Performance is better now than compared to release, but could still be improved.
only reason why i didn't refund was because i was 6 ish hours in and couldn't get a refund at that point,
and just forced myself to finish the base story, to at least get something out of my money, even tho i just felt more and more frustrated as i finished it.

Game is really good But.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it sad that it lacks optimization.
Don't get me wrong it's better now than compared to launch,
but it's still very disappointing.

At some points with dlss on performance, on a 3080 ryzen 7 7700x at medium settings 1440p, hits 50fps WITH DLSS? cmon
and turning off dlss, yea no.

If ya wanna try it, get it on a discount.

Sure, the terrain looks great, that's for sure, but dinos themselves, looks almost like they did in normal ark.
Besides how the game looks, i was hoping for a more optimized experience, spoiler, it's not. performance is straight up bad.

All medium settings at 1440p on ryzen 7700x and rtx 3080 is getting a total of 50 ish fps,
and with dlss it hits a whopping 60.

I'd say wait a good while till you get it, (in hopes that they will optimize it more) and then get it on sale,
if you feel like you want the newer visuals to the terrain.

The loading on this game is horrendus, it takes faking years to get in, and sometimes when you want to start a heist, the game just keeps you in a loading loop, so you have to close the game with alt+f4, not only that, there are so manny modders, and people abusing all the glitches that are in the game.

Good fun, but you should get mod's so that you can get other songs/weapons
