A rare rough edge here and there, but the 50+ bosses that are all unique from each other (even if they share the same weapons, e.g. archers) and the fact that a lot of the game settings can be modified to however you prefer it (reducing any grind) are really shining upsides resting on top of a solid foundation.

As you can't heal yourself infinitely in a battle, it is rewarding to play V Rising a bit more defensively at least until you learn your enemy's attacks and sharpen your reflexes. Many attacks can be side-stepped (at least from a moderate distance), but you also have your trustworthy dodge skill and can replace your attack skills with additional shields if you really need it.

I play the game solo, so I'm not experienced with any of the multiplayer/optional PvP aspects, but PvE-wise - pretty 𝓅𝑜𝑔𝑔𝑒𝓇𝓈.

I hope there's a dating simulator game coming up next, because.. well.. let's just say FlyKnight has earned some in my books, alright? :)

It's not -bad-, the atmosphere and designs are okay but I can't continue with this pacing and AI. Despite its highs, the game just feels cheap.

My favourite Supergiant Games' releases are Hades and Hades... two.
Very good, very fun. :)

Each step forward comes with one step backwards - Bethesda has (generally) okay ideas and usually bad implementation. Feedback is ignored, bugs are not fixed, performance is abysmal. Fallout 76 is better than what it was, but it could be so much superior, which is especially more apparent once your initial 'wow' first impression wears off.

I feel like I'm being kept checking in on the game from time to time purely due to sunk cost fallacy, because if each new addition is bugged or badly thought out, daily grind is boring and there's nothing worthy long-term to grind for (I would just mindlessly do my Dailies while watching TV series on the side), FOMO/monetization is really ugly, the game is bugged in ways I would not have imagined (half the walls, ceilings, and floors disappear if I face North in one Daily Op map, I don't have any other issues looking in the other directions), and bad server quality means enemies often struggle to respond to being hit resulting in unsatisfying combat, then I really ask myself why do I still bother.

It's a lovely game clearly made with passion, but bogged down by bizarre and/or infuriating design choices, such as:

A) The slow movement speed is very annoying to deal with, and the teleporter stone doesn't take you to enough places to fix it. It doesn't help that workbenches are limited to different areas - forgot to make 1 piece of paper for this construction? Better walk for 2 minutes back to the workbench, because the storage chests are obviously not interconnected either. On that note, better not forget where you left something as the game also has no idea, but will happily spam you with many different types of items you'll have to shove somewhere.

B) The combat is super basic and very annoying, especially against more mobile types of enemies. My ass is not interested in doing 15 floors of dungeons if on the 4/5th one already there's rooms with two dozen enemies. I also had a bat do a 1000 Punch Technique on me for some reason, bouncing between me and a wall very fast, ignoring any concept of a cooldown. Mike Batson also likes to move just out of the swinging range of your sword, too, before returning to smooch your botox-fueled lips once more.

3) The game tells you so little, having a wiki on the side is absolutely mandatory. Don't be like me, don't decide to build some random thing right outside of your house, fetching resources including ones you haven't collected before yet only to find out that you just made a much worse bed that doesn't forcibly wake you up once you have full energy.

D) The quest system is annoying, flooding you with a lot of tasks pretty early but making it difficult to keep track of it. The fact that days are super short may mean you have to prepare all the rewards to hand in very well in advance. On the bright side, there's no seasons whatsoever, so you just have to wait for a week for an NPC to come back (and you can focus on grinding stuff for another one)

E. Bugs. Not many, but still. I had an NPC I was supposed to deliver quest items to so I can progress another questline just disappear for 5 days straight (they were supposed to appear daily). I was starting to do online searches and people were saying that you have to start from the beginning to fix this - THANKFULLY the dude came back from his vacation eventually...

f) The building is eh due to a lot of restrictions on where you can place stuff, which I feel just pushes players towards min-maxing for best possible output, because for some reason an area has to be split into multiple rectangles, all just a little too big or a little too small for one object, instead of having one giant area you can design [with decorations] to your liking. It doesn't help that you can't move objects, but have to rebuild them instead.

G) You run out of energy so fast, a notable percentage of my playtime must be running back to bed and sleeping in it. Food items can restore your energy and dumping some food in the oven to cook (they can't burn) every time you are home is going to be a very useful habit.

H) And more, such as for some reason being able to queue some items for mass-production but not others, not being able to remove certain world objects to make your life easier (e.g. fences in your graveyard, garden), or having an area you can clearly build something in, the menu to build is there, but it contains nothing and you have no idea what unlocks it.

Z) And more!

Do get it if you'd still like, it's not a -bad- game, but beware of the above. There are some mods on Nexus that may make your experience a bit easier, like making days longer, letting you queue everything, teleport everywhere, or give you a bit more maximum energy during the days.

Characters can be funny, at least.

The amount of PAYDAY 3 content is so bad they scrape the bottom of the barrel and sell pre-order bonuses. :(

Outside of some bugs and balance (both of which hopefully will be ironed out - a big update has just dropped as of writing this), playing as the bad guys in HELLDIVERS 2 is genuinely and extremely fun!

The puzzles are a little on the easy side, but Portal: Revolution introduces a lot of new and fun mechanics alongside an interesting plot and cool characters with a ton of references to the main games of the franchise. A must-play.
