I also just wanted to add that the community on the discord for the most part is fine and super helpful, but there's a vocal minority of people that go out of there way to sh*t on you for no reason, as the internet is- but don't take it personally.

I understand that this review will probably be thumbs downed to hell, but I want to offer a perspective to non-hardcore players, the 99% that either lurk in the discord or don't even know it exists.

I was able to enjoy this essentially free game (as in purchases are optional) for 1,600 hours (and I will continue to do so). That being said, this game is NOT for everyone. I've recommended it to multiple friends and they found it quite slow to slog through the first two worlds. It reminds me of the One Piece meme where it gets good by episode 854 (World 3). ESPECIALLY if you're going to be playing F2P. This game is an incredible time sink and I've been playing it on and off since a couple months after release and only recently started playing a more hardcore-active play style.

I do hope that Lava (the developer) can listen to his community and find a fair balance for what has seemed to blow up, introducing a new currency and blaming it on poor development is funny as all hell, but it is not fair to punish players because of it. An amenable single currency solution would be wonderful. Furthermore, a pity system for the gotcha system would be great.

I still leave this review positive and implore you to try the game if you enjoy a idling/management game.

It was very enjoyable for myself being behind the whales or perfect optimizer(s) in the discord before this most recent update. This means there is still tons of enjoyable content even when entirely ignoring the latest update.

I do hope Lava (the developer) does not take this setback from the community personally, many people just don't want to see their favorite idle game become a whale hell and neither do I. Furthermore, I hope he does not abandon the game that he has spent years developing and building one of the most toxic and active communities I've ever seen.
