All good stories must come to an end
Unless things change, games like this will only be a shell of "what could have been"

Battlefield fells less like a game and more like a show, meaning that the more seasons a show has the staler it becomes

Flashy trailers, high expectations across the globe, one more year of development and promised features that never came to be, all of this culminated to a terrible launch and a terrible product in general.
Things like this are supposed to be a "standard" these days and the more we indulge, the worst will get
Why did i buy the game then? Like a lot of people in the community, I wanted this game to be great, which only makes it worse when you find that the lied to you

What i think about the game:

The game has around 70 to 80 hours of content, this includes having experienced all the modes, tried every single gun, tried every single vehicle, saw every single map and unlocked some banners or badges. What you do after that is all up to you, but what most people will do is wait until the first season... Good luck with that

If you didn't get the memo, leaked info about the game showed that the first season should come out in March... Keep in mind that this is a game that is discarded every two years.
I wouldn't get my hopes up, especially since a lot changes have been happening inside DICE

Regarding gameplay, i can't believe how bad it became, especially after Battlefield V, that game had a lot of problems but gameplay wasn't one of them. Not just that but bugs, lots of bugs
The idea of changing attachments on the fly is great, but it was poorly implemented.
The worst offenders are the tornado and the "massive destruction". The tornado is basically a show piece which barely works and it is just used to get altitude. And to top it all of, the "massive destruction" is a feature that can only be described as "antenna go boing" and "metal sheet drop"
I didn't even include the massive missile exploding since people seem to have forgotten about it too

Now for a quick round:

There are only two main game modes, hazard zone is empty, hazard zone has no support and no special maps, the outcome of matches doesn’t affect the story of the game, no single player, portal gives no xp, portal mostly doesn't have permanent game modes, clunky menus, terrible frame rate and this are just some that annoy me. For more just search the Battlefield 2042 subreddit

Verdict:
Just stick with Battlefield V
Simple and actually cheap

The Outer Wilds is a weird game for me.
I have tried to play through this game 3 times already and only recently i actually got to finish it
And what is me veridict... Wow it is beautiful and tiring at the same time. Let me explain

Let's start with the bad stuff, the respawn system.
I loved the lore behind the statues and why we are stuck on a loop, it is beautiful and full of stuff to read but the process itself is really boring. Everytime you respawn/die you watch the memories of the loop you just experienced, even though this is cool and in sync with the lore, by the 20th time you see it, it isn't fun anymore
In this game dying is really present, not just because every 22 minutes the sun explodes but because you can die in some pretty stupid ways, so why can't i just skip that little cutseen?
Another problem with the game is how some of the deaths can feel unfair or even out of your control, for example, running out of gas and oxygen.
Once your gas runs out you start using oxygen for your "jetpack". The problem start when you can't control exactly when it activates and this makes very hard to not use oxygen, and if it runs out you die

With the bad stuff out of the way let's get into the good stuff!
Details, they are everywhere and they are important too! I love games like this that take time to explain "everything" so you can understand the world better.
The devs didn't had to include half of the stuff they did, but if they didn't the experience would be worse.
One of the details i loved was related to the respawn system. The thing that amazed me was how the main character wakes up differently after every loop, depending on how you died or how you ended the loop
If theres a difference on how you wake up, i can't imagine how many details and little stories are out there among the stars and other planets.
Speaking of other planets, every planet in the solar system feels completly different, giving a lot of variety and challenges every time you visit a new planet
Things like the map, the ship, the characters, the athmosphere and the music all make this game feel alive, and this is the best compliment i can give! The world seems full and has a long story to tell

If you have pacience and you enjoy a really good story, then maybe this game is for you.
Like me you may have some problems getting used to the respawn system and other stuff that turns the game a little slow and tiring but after you adjust you start to enjoy the game for what it is
9/10

ABZU is a beautifuly crafted world with a simple but ellagant story.
If i had to say something memorable about this game it would be the music. Austin Wintory, the same composer behind Journey and The Pathless did an amazing job showing emotion and atmosphere through sound, places feel more alive then ever.

Talking about "places being alive" the game is full of fish and other sea life, some that i didn't even knew existed.

Games that have some "water level" usually are seen as doomed from the start, just because it is really hard to get it to feel smooth to play but let me tell you, they got it right!
It isn't perfect but it does the job well, but in this case i have complaines about the other section of the game, the walking section. It feels slow and unecessary, the good thing is that i doesn't last long

If i had to rate this game i would definetly give it a 8.5/10
Like i said it isn't perfect but it was able to stay on my head for some time
