borderlands but fun

Steep learning curve and certainly not the easiest to get the hang of, but with that comes a plethora of mechanical skills to learn and unpack. Everything is unbalanced, so it cancels each-other out - making for some crazy moments to both fight against and pull off with your own team. Victory feels satisfying in that it is your skill and everything you learned to that point pit against your enemy's, and every defeat is a learning experience. Satisfying, but understandably not for everyone. Do go into this game with a thick skin, or learn to grow some quickly, before committing your time - and/or money - to DOTA.

I loved the time I spent in this game. There were so many branches for the skill tree and so many characters to play. It offers a very nice Diablo-esque experience and I recommend everybody try this game.

The game is boatloads of fun. It's got plenty of things to find, craft, and construct.


However, the zombie pathing needs tweaking & some of the weapon balances as well.


Still something that is fun with both your friends and by yourself

The game is not worth the money. You only get about 10 minutes of enjoyment out of it and then you never play it again.

This is an excellent game. It has such a high skill ceiling, but it pays off with satisfaction. It may be a little rough around the edges, but it still plays like a charm.
